Donna and Shawn were amazing. The property was clean, friendly and safe. We stayed in one of the covered. wagons and really enjoyed everything the property had to offer. We “glamped”, cooked on open fire, fished and hiked. We really enjoyed everything about this property and will defiantly go back.

So glad you enjoyed your stay and the amenities we have to offer. The wagons are one of our newest additions and they are very popular. We look forward to seeing you again. Shawn, Donna & Brittany.
The owners were great. They were very accommodating. The property was clean and close to the parks. Would definitely recommend.

About the host

Our family has owned and operated a full service equestrian facility in Connecticut for the past 23 years. Offering boarding, lessons, trail rides, training, pony parties, summer camp, and therapeutic programs. We are excited to have our horses here with us and offer guided trail rides in the big south fork. Having been life long residents of Connecticut, after a serious health scare last year. Amy and Jon decided to embrace the saying, that life is too short to not live it to the fullest! We fell in love with True West seeing it online and after visiting fell in love with the area. We packed up the kids and the animals to start a new adventure. Combining our love of horses and the out doors this was an opportunity that felt meant to be.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood and community here are amazing!!
What makes this property unique
True west is like stepping onto a movie set, you really feel like you have gone back in time. Although the wifi and amenities say differently. Photo opportunities are unlike any other.
