Chalet des Enfants is an OVO Network property. Sleeping eight adults and two children in five bedrooms (all with a TV and English and French satelite channels), there's plenty of room to find your own space.

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

You’d struggle to find a more perfect base for a mountain holiday than 4 star rated Chalet des Enfants, situated in a private drive just seven minutes walk from the centre of La Clusaz (and just a minute on skis!).

Chalet des Enfants is semi-detached, and the accommodation is set over four floors, with stair gates and equipment for families with very young children. It would be ideal for two families holidaying together, or a group of friends. The property is, however, not suitable for those with limited mobility.

Two families will find this an ideal base - there are two separate living rooms, three double bedrooms, two twin rooms and three well-appointed bathrooms. In the evenings, the kids will be happy to watch films, listen to music or play computer games around the funky ethanol fireplace downstairs, while the adults relax around the open fire in the living area upstairs.

There are two sunny balconies and two terraces, one of which has a jacuzzi with stunning views over the pistes - the perfect place to watch the sun go down on a fun-filled day in the Aravis!

Please note this semi-detached property has two wooden terraces but no garden. The property is across four floors. Although the property allows a maximum of 3 babies (- 2 years old) there is only 1 baby's travel cot, and 1 high chair available at the property

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

Perfect Views and Facilities

The property was amazing! The location is a 10-minute walk downhill into town, and a short walk across the road allows ski-in/ski-out access. The chalet facilities, including the hot tub and mountain views, were just perfect! Great communication with the chalet manager before and during the stay, so I would recommend it 100%.

A Chalet Designed for the Perfect Ski Stay

Lovely chalet in a very quiet area, with plenty of space and great features. We loved the hot tub and cinema room. It was also nice to have heated boot warmers and plenty of space to store ski gear. A short walk across the road leads to the piste to ski down to Bossonnet, or you can catch the ski bus just outside.

A Modern and Perfectly Equipped Property

The property had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean, and we loved the layout. It was modern and family-friendly, and the kitchen contained every utensil we could possibly need. A Fun-Filled Stay with Plenty to Do

We loved staying in this fantastic chalet with plenty of space for two families. The teenagers loved the theatre room, and we enjoyed the living room, balconies, and hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped for raclette and fondue; there was also a Nespresso machine and BBQ. Parking was easy and free at the front of the chalet. We were a 10-minute walk from the town (15-20 minutes uphill on the way back), which has great restaurants and shops. There’s lots to do nearby, including via ferrata, stand-up paddleboarding on Lake Annecy, canyoning, and picnics. We had a great time — thank you.

Beautiful, well-equipped chalet

This chalet has a stunning view of the mountains, is in a quiet location opposite the ski bus stop, and—under good snow conditions—is also opposite the Nant piste. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and always warm. It is spacious and comfortable. The chalet manager is very helpful and friendly.

Summer Stay with Comfort and Activities

We had a lovely week at Chalet Les Enfants. The chalet was just as we hoped—very spacious and welcoming. The location is excellent—a short walk down to the town of La Clusaz. The bus stop is nearby, and we used the local free buses quite a few times. There are lots of excellent walking and biking trails nearby, as well as other summer activities like mini golf, luge, and swimming. The kitchen is well equipped, and we ate in most nights. Everything you need to prepare all your meals is there. The dishwasher and washing machine were also very useful.

10/10 for this great chalet

Fantastic place - spacious and comfortable and really well-equipped - it’s obviously lived-in and not just rented out. It’s set over four floors, with an amazing TV room (“the theatre”) in the basement, and is easily big enough to accommodate two families with grown-up kids, but retains a welcoming and cozy feel despite its size. It’s within walking distance of La Clusaz, which was a real selling point for us, although the 15-minute uphill walk back to the property will keep you fit if you do it regularly! Our stay was marked by unseasonably hot weather (approaching 40 degrees down in Annecy), and the upstairs bedrooms did get very hot, even with the shutters closed during the day. However, it’s fair to say that this is a general issue with Alpine chalets - they’re primarily built for the winter and air conditioning is not a thing in this area - yet. The TV room was the star on the really hot days - it stayed cool in all conditions. All in all, highly recommended.
