Lake Lure is located in western NC between Asheville (home of the Biltmore estate)and Charlotte home of Carowinds amusement park and the White Water center. Lake Lure called one of the most beautiful lakes in the world by National Geographic boasts breath taking mountain views from its sparkling clean beach area. The 720 acre lake offers year round activities and Chimney Rock and the Hickory Nut Gorge only add to the endless opportunities for fun. If shopping is your forte you will enjoy the village shops of Chimney Rock, Rutherfordton, Hendersonville, Asheville and Black Mountain.

The Cabin in the Pines is a new easy to get to Lake Lure mountain view log home that boasts cabin décor and master bedroom on first level. You can warm up next to the fireplace, enjoy a movie, game or good book. You will enjoy the close proximity of Ingles grocery store (2 miles), Chimney Rock and Lake Lure beach (3 miles), a public golf course (1 mile), a public library where you can find a good book for yourself and the kids (walking distance) and a private lake (Mirror Lake) with beach and covered picnic area (2 blocks). You will leave refreshed, relaxed and ready to return. Most homes including ours do not have Wifi. Wifi is available at all public restaurants and library.
