This property is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath that is fully furnished. Conveniently located on the Kawkawlin River which leads to the Saginaw Bay near the Saginaw River. Our property is only minutes from the Saginaw River DNR boat launch & you have access to your own private beach less than 300 yards away from property. This retreat is located less than a mile from our local tavern and Beer, Booze, Bait & Tackle Store. Large retailers and restaurants are less than 3 miles away with antique shops along with down town shopping just over 5 miles away by car and accessible by boat from property. Cabin also has access point to the Rail Trail bike riding system that connects to the downtown district and State Park area. Plenty of off-street parking for boats, cargo trailers, and visitors. This property is the perfect location for fishermen in the summer and winter, summer boating, or just relaxing under the shade tree watching boat traffic come in and out of the river heading to the beach’s and local restaurants on the water.

Things to do on boat:
• Take your boat to one of the local beaches on the bay.
• Adventure up Kawkawlin River to Tavern on the water for live entertainment.
• Half day trip from cabin up the Saginaw River to downtown Bay City, grab lunch or dinner.
• Check out the hardest to access Michigan light house on the Saginaw River.
• Fish some of the best walleye fishing in the country in the Saginaw Bay.
If you bring your boat along we recommend at least 4 days to see everything.

• Fish off the dock at this property bass, pike, perch and other species.
• Relax under shade tree and watch the boat traffic pass cabin (Great people watching)
• Visit the splash park located at the State Park.
• Shopping Downtown Bay City. Antiques, clothing, cigar shop, candy shops and more.

I hosted family at Corky’s Cabin, a beautifully renovated home on the water. Such a great location to watch the boats go by and relax on the deck. The place is clean, uncluttered and has everything you need. I hope we can return for another visit.

We had a great time at Corkys Cabin! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The house was awesome, clean and has one heck of a view. The sunrises and sunsets were maybe the best I've ever seen. I would definitely recommend this place and if I am back in the area I'd definitely stay here again!

Amazing quiet getaway

The house and location are amazing! The host was as well she helped us change our date with no problem when we got Covid, we are so appreciative many wouldn't be so helpful. I recommend this property especially if you Love to fish!!!

Everything about Corky’s Cabin was perfect. First the location was great-views of river and bay and ease of getting to Downtown. The cabin is clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. My sister and I felt right at home and very relaxed! Loved being able to view the water and enjoyed the boat traffic.

Nothing but positive comments about this beautiful, well-kept, cottage on the river/bay. Plenty of room for truck and trailer parking, along with more than ample boat dock space. Great people! Highly recommend their properties!

A Beautiful Slice of Paradise

My husband and I stayed here and we were NOT disappointed. We wished we could have stayed here longer! The beds were so comfy, I actually contacted Jessica and asked where she bought them from. Adorable vacation spot!

The house was exactly as we imagined …. But better. The open windows let the outside in. Being on the river was so relaxing! Loved watching the boats coming in and out of the bay. Decor was fresh and new. Perfect for a couple or smaller group. Bring your fishing poles, kayaks, and boat (if you have one) for this location to get the most out of the stay. Will rent again!

Loved Corky’s Cabin

We stayed the end of August and absolutely loved our stay at Cork’y’s Cabin. The house was so clean and super cute!! We loved having drinks each evening on the deck watching the boats!! Communication was great!! Our 1st time in Bay City and we really enjoyed it! Awesome bike trails, great hike in the State Park, loved the shops and antique stores, lots of pubs and breweries, close to Frankenmurth for a fun day trip! We loved our stay!!

10 Star property!

I can't say enough good things about this home. It's very clean and has been well cared for. The location is quaint, quiet and located 5-10 minutes from shopping and restaurants. It's steps from the river and has the most wonderful views. The owners are very helpful. Would highly recommend and would rate this 10 stars if that was an option.

Wonderful home and property

My sister and I stayed here with our 87 year old mother. When you first walk in everything smells so fresh and clean. Everything and this property looks brand new. We spent most of our time on the covered porch in the rocking chairs. It rained quite a bit while we were there but it didn’t even matter because we had that beautiful porch. Absolutely love being right on the river. We will come back here in a heartbeat and would recommend it to everyone.
