dear Jason, I am so sorry you were not able to read my house description before renting my guesthouse. I put an enormous amount of effort in making everyone welcome ad feeling at home as you can see with the innumerable happy guest that wrote fabulous comments for the last 5 years. Yes, I live in the front house with my daughter as described and I ask people to respectful of the neighbors as anyone would. This is not a party house, but a nice quiet place for a couple or a small family to spend a peaceful vacation. Many thanks for letting me know the bike chains were rusty, it has been raining a lot and although they are covered the moisture have affected them, I had my maintenance person take care of it. I would have liked it ,if you had told me, so we could have fixed this right away.

dear renter i am so so happy you had agreat time in California and were able to enjoy my quiet and peaceful guesthouse, the beautiful whisteria vine was in fool bloom just at the time you arrived !! this is a very rare present !! i am an architect , i take very very much care about my designs. I pourpesly designed this very special guesthouse retreat with a lot of thought and very much care for the colors of the funiture, the walls and the carpeting to maximaze th ecomfort and the feeling of space and light fo rmy renters.. i did the same for 4 other houses available at homeaway and i am so proud to give every renter for the last 5 years the best possible time in Los Angeles,. I am sorry that the intentional design decisions on minimizing the clutter in the guesthouse by removing the cumbersome doors in the 8 foot closet in the bedroom and the wheels off the bedframes where not pleasing your esthetics. i do go out of my way to make every single renter as happy as i possibly can while creating a serene and peaceful environment for all to have a great vacation. i apologize, if the furniture was not what you were expecting., i was so shure that the pictures of the guesthouse depicted every detail. i will be sure to change them if they do not. i am so greatful to you about the remark on the wobbly seat of the Schwinn bike, i had my handyman check all 6 bikes and we dicovered the one bike had a wobbly seat and also that the expensive cushion seat covers i had purchased for two other bikes are gone,.Many many thanks for pointing this out!! i now see that super nice added cushion seat covers get stolen!! the next renters will appreciate it! all thanks to you! about the alergies, i need to tell you that i only have one cat that has never been into the guesthouse, but i know there is a visitor coming from the neighbours and i have done everything possible to lead him away.i do not want to abuse the poor animal and i do not know if another renter before you has let this poor thing inside, just rest assured that if this ever happened, it is not on my watch. So just in case, and allthough we clean the carpet every week by hand , i do always deferr alergic people to another house with hardwood floors, since no one can guarantee that any carpeted floor is free of alergens, whether is a cat or a whisteria pollen or the blooming jasmin buds dragged in by the wind. many many thanks for such useful remaks! all the best gabriela
