We really enjoyed our stay, everything was exactly as the ad said. The communication was amazing and any questions we had they were answered quickly. Recommend this location to anyone staying in the area!
There are a lot of positives and a few negatives with this property.
Pros:
Communication with Host was excellent and all my questions were answered.
Place was very clean and well kept and host provided snacks.
The property is in a very nice neighborhood.
Lots of security lighting in the complex.
Cons
Road Noise--It took awhile to get use to and you don't hear much of it until you go to bed. It took awhile for me to get to sleep.
Place felt a little stuffy. I closed the window to keep the noise out but it also closed off some of fresh air.
Overall, I had a good stay.

Frustrating and stressful experience
Beyond disappointed with this property due to lack of preparation that was unacceptable and fell far below expectations based on property description. The amount of time, money and effort I had to expend every day communicating with management & VRBO, running to the store for missing items (sheets!?) listed in the post, & attempting to troubleshoot various appliances that came with no instructions was a significant distraction and created unnecessary stress for me and my family.
-Mini split AC didn't work: restored to proper working condition FIVE days after our arrival
-No dishwasher/ice maker in unit, both listed as amenities
-ONE drinking glass provided
-Coffee maker carafe incompatible with machine
-Cobwebs, dirty walls, broken vertical blinds: no cleaning products except dish soap
-No washcloths & 2/3 beds missing flat or fitted sheet Mgmt. left us new sheet sets on day 3, both still in package. Really?!
-Lots of steps to unit from garage, not mentioned in listing
-On our last day, I got a text that "someone" smelled "cigarette smoke" coming from our unit. I was chastised & reminded of the rules (i.e. no deposit refund). We don't smoke. Hmm.
-Security lights outside all windows made 3 a.m. feel like 8 a.m.
-New shower tile is scary slippery
-No instructions: Mini washer/dryer combo apparently w/o dry only option. Tried Google: unable to dry tiny load of socks.
-Loud neighbors
-Day 3: Mgmt brought new coffee maker, cloths, oven mitts, sheets, quilt
-and more...
The remodel is pretty and the property is nicely decorated, but not what we would consider luxury. There is no dishwasher (although the washer/dryer combo is nice to have), there were no lamps in the apartment, just overhead lights without dimmers, the towels did not match, no sponge to wash dishes by hand with, no coffee maker (instant coffee was provided), no recycle bin, no curtains on bedroom window (lots of street light shining through blinds), and funky wiring (trying to use the garbage disposal popped a jury-rigged GFCI outlet in the bedroom - used instead of a circuit breaker). By far the worst was the thin walls and ceiling. The road noise was very loud and the neighbor upstairs was horrible. They liked playing their TV very loud from about 10 pm to 3 or 4 am. The only time it was off was one night after we complained to the manager, and one time when the neighbor heard us get up at 3am and complain loudly about the noise!
My son and I had a very comfortable stay. Please note that the unit we stayed in is not the one in the pictures. Also note that there is no dishwasher even though it is listed as being in the unit. Besides having to wash dishes, we had a very comfortable stay. The space was very clean and well appointed.

Nice place!
Clean, nicely furnished apartment. On site parking. Very convenient. Bit of a hassle getting access, but it all worked out well. Would stay here again if in the area.

thanks for having you and looking forward to see you again
The property is an older complex that has been refurbished. It's a family kind of complex, not a sterile box like some. It's not as luxurious as a place that costs twice as much, but it was great for our needs for a week. We were evacuated from the recent fires, and the air quality is the South Bay was terrible, so needed to keep the widows closed for several days with the supplied portable air con running. It's loud, but does the job and was much better than breathing smoke! If this unit wasn't there the stuffiness in the apartment would be unbearable.
I liked having the washer/dryer right there in the unit. Very convenient.
Kitchen supplies could have been better. The knives were really dull, couldn't slice an onion if my life depended on it. Made cooking a little difficult, but not impossible.
The unit was clean when we arrived, obviously professionally cleaned. Very important these days and much appreciated.
I'd certainly use this apartment again and would recommend.
Great location and quiet neighborhood, just needs the little things.
If there were a way to give this 3.5 stars, I would. Three stars is too little so we are rounding up and going with four. Being VRBO owners ourselves, the only thing keeping this from a five star stay are the accumulation of little things which hopefully gets resolved for future renters.
Pros - Separate bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen, TV with cable, washer/dryer, quiet neighborhood, location is 5 mins from everything you could possibly need, covered parking space, unit is updated, new appliances, new furniture, office desk, steps away from a jogging trail, portable AC in main area, and the owner let us check-in early.
Cons - Bed was not comfortable (this is subjective but it felt very firm with no pillow top), spartanly-appointed kitchen, no space heater for those really cool nights, no dishwasher, minimal cookware, no bakeware.
To get to five stars - If the minimum stay is five nights, then I would expect the kitchen to be better appointed. There was no blender, toaster, spatula, wine opener, can opener, cooking condiments, mixing bowls, small or medium sized skillets (just one oversized skillet), etc. These little things made it a little more difficult and pricey for our stay. If you stay here and the foam mattress topper is still there, you're welcome!

Hello Michelle,
Sorry to hear that you didn't fully enjoy your stay. We have replaced the beds after your review with brand new mattresses and bed frames for future guests. For the kitchen supplies, we do actually provide a wide variety of tools and amenities. We received a lot of reviews from other guests actually thanking us for providing them with such an immense amount of kitchen supplies for them to be able to cook. We do have a can opener, toaster, spatula, wine opener, condiments, and skillets provided for guests.
This was a very nice clean apartment. Very comfortable. Had everything we needed for our stay. Liked we had an assigned and covered parking spot. Also had a washer and dryer in unit. Would stay here again.
We were suppose to stay 6/9-6/15. We were told we had to leave on 6/14 by 11 am because they had overbooked. We were already there when this was told. Had to find a hotel for an additional 2 days with very little notice. Costed us more money.
