Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and the amazing views. We look forward to you staying with us in the future. Laura
Super close to RMNP and downtown. Only downside was there was lots of construction going on while we were there, maling getting around difficult at times.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you were able to easily access both the Park and downtown from our location. Our town is doing some improvements, so hopefully when you come back and visit next time, all the improvements will be made in Estes.

16A at Lazy R Cottages was the perfect place for our vacation. Close to downtown Estes Park and some excellent restaurants. Very convenient to both RMNP entrances. So clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean, comfortable property. Great views and the location is perfect with access to the park and town. Kitchen was missing a few key provisions, but otherwise absolutely adorable.

Hi Shannon,
I'm happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and had easy access to RMNP and Estes itself. The kitchens have since been stocked more, please come see us again!
The cabin was spacious and the location made it very, very easy to get to RMNP. The big windows and high ceiling a provided great views to wake up to.

We hope to have you back again soon!
Thank you,

My family enjoyed our stay here. We spent 3 nights while visiting RMNP. The property was very close to the park as well as Estes Park shops and activities. The view was amazing! It was a treat to enjoy morning coffee looking out every morning.
Plan to pack all you need for provisions with food. There is a grocery store across the street but if you have a big shopping trip plan to head across town to Safeway.

Marilee,
Thank you so much for all the information! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and the visit to RMNP!
We had a wonderful stay in Estes Park! The location was perfect and close to everything. A very short drive to RMNP. There was so much beautiful natural light in the cabin thanks to all the windows and the view from the deck was amazing. The cabin was clean very well equiped with plenty of towels in both bathrooms. I would suggest adding a couple of basics to the kitchen: salt and pepper, foil and saran wrap. Overall it was perfect and we hope to come back!

I needed a place to stay for a wedding in Estes Park. We needed a place that would accomodate up to 10 people. This place was able to fit us all. There is little privacy but the view was wonderful and we enjoyed having the ability to visit in comfort. Very close to the entrance of RMP. The office staff was great and there was plenty of parking for our group. The location is not as close to downtown as I would have liked at times but it is away from the crowds. My brother and his wife from out of state really liked the cabin. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for taking time to review this upper level cabin. I am glad the cabin met the needs of your larger group. It is awesome your family members from out of state could take in the views of the Continental Divide from the cabin. We highly consider the dilemma with providing the pristine view from the cabin and having window coverings interfere with that view. Thank you for your input on this issue. We hope you and your family are able to visit Estes Park again in the future. Thank you again for taking the time to provide a review.

Stayed at 16A, my children loved the cabin. Husband thought bed, couches and chairs were uncomfortable. Table was sticky, like they had some adhesive that didn't come off or wrong cleaner used. View was great, kitchen pots were worn out but all utensils were there. Fan blades were covered in dust so didn't use them...Cute cabin overall tho.

No communication
When we arrived the bathrooms were dirty. We found Pubic hair in both bathtubs. We couldn’t get a hold of anybody the entire time for towels, paper towels or to get someone to come clean our bathtubs

Great views but lacked in other areas
The views were amazing! However, the pictures on Vrbo did not tell the full story. The loft has two queen beds and can be closed off from the rest of the property, however, there are no coverings to give privacy from the rest of the property. In other words, one bedroom has a see-through glass wall. We were two married couples staying together, and it was a bit awkward. The property was average in cleanliness. The kitchen lacked things that we would’ve found useful. For example, there is a griddle but no electric cord to power it. Also, there were no scouring pads to use on pots and pans. Plastic wrap and/or foil would have been helpful. We’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and those items are standard everywhere else we have stayed. The gas fireplace had very little flame (it was turned up all the way) and put out very little heat. Overall, it was an okay place but for the price, we’ve had better.

The location was perfect! A beautiful view, grocery store across the street, dining options close by and close to town. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
We had a great time in this cute mountain condo-like home. It’s in a great location, having easy access to both Estes Park and RMNP. We rented the top part and although we had room for all 9 of us, the futons in the living area were hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen lacked some basic things, but luckily we didn’t need much while we were there. One drawback was the lack of AC, as it was summertime, but that was only an issue in the afternoons and we weren’t there much during that time. Thanks for having us!
This cabin was everything we could have hoped for! It was spacious and clean and the views were amazing. We also loved how close we were to town. The cabin does not have air conditioning but plenty of fans were provided and the temperature at night drops quickly. The host was great and check-in and check-out was a breeze. I highly recommend this cabin!
Amazing! Love the views family was amazed! Going to rent more then one cabin next time for more family to visit.

Thank you for sharing! I am thrilled that you had an amazing time, and are ready to come back and visit. The Continental Divide views are hard to beat from this cabin. And, you may have seen some fresh snow on the mountains, which would have been quite a treat. We are ready for your next visit! We are open year round and have numerous VRBO unit choices on that property.

To hot in house
No cover on windows and sun was so bright you couldn’t be in the house or enjoy the deck
When I rented it didn’t realize there was renters on lower level

Lori:
We are sorry that you were disappointed with your stay. The large picture windows share the awesome views of the Continental Divide. However, I apologize that they made the cabin too warm for your stay. I hope you were able to utilize the fans in the unit, and even chose to ask for an additional fan or two from our staff. I am sure you were a little surprised if you hadn’t noticed in the listing that the cabin was attached/adjoining. We do have other listings with VRBO that are free standing units that may work better for you for future visits. We take our guests’ comments seriously, and will consider how to improve the window situation without interfering with the views. Thank you for your insight.
Jamie
This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway to Rocky Mountain National Park. The location is great and you can't beat the view. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely stay here.

Thanks for the review! I am glad you enjoyed the views from the cabin. We tried to make the windows as large as possible! We hope you will be in the area again, and we will gladly have you stay with us.

My wife, myself and my two children (ages 1 and 3) came up to this property for a full day and evening. The location is great and it is directly across the street from a great little market that was helpful when we needed items for dinner/lunch. The house is AMAZING. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The biggest advantage of this property is the VIEW. It is unbelievable and pretty great to wake up to. My wife and I had coffee on the little deck in the morning and took it all in. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a quick getaway. We live in Colorado Springs and are used to beautiful views, but it fails in comparison to what this property has to offer. Reasonably priced as well. We loved it!
