We had the most wonderful stay! Great set up, relaxing environment and views, and perfect for kids. And the fooseball table took it all to the next level! Thank you making this such a fantastic home away from home!
Was a wonderful place for the family. An easy walk into town with great shopping and restaurants and close to Rocky Mountain National Park! The hot tub and foosball table were a favorite. With a family of 4, everyone had their bed and space to spread out. We would stay here again!
The house was lovely, clean, and had everything we wanted out of our stay. Laura was kind, flexible, and communicative throughout, even letting us extend our checkout time in response to our initial flights getting cancelled. I can’t recommend this home/host strongly enough!
This was our 2nd time here in less than 5 months. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. Being in the hot tub to see the sunrise on the mountain tops is beautiful and peaceful. It's only a short distance to "downtown" Estes Park. We love the variety of good places to eat.
The property was fantastic. A great location, clean and very well stocked. It was a quick walk to downtown but a quiet and private neighborhood. Highly recommend!
Everything was great from the moment we checked in. The door code was provided early and easy to use. We loved the cleanliness of the site as well as the availability of essentials like towels, coffee, and toiletries. We can't wait to come back!

About the host
Hosted by Laura & Mark Richins
Hi! We are Mark and Laura and love an adventure. As a family with four grown children, we love the outdoors and hiking, kayaking, backpacking and camping. We find joy in spending time with our growing family. We also like to get away and spend time together exploring our amazing world and the beauty that surrounds us. Our love for adventure is what brought us to the mountains to find a home that we could enjoy and share with others.
Why they chose this property
As a family who loves the outdoors and Colorado we wanted to find a place where not only we could make memories but also share with others who wanted to spend time in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. We came across this home that was unique and had personality. With Marks skill and knack for woodworking and remodeling, he went to work making our Rocky Retreat just how we want it and to make it ours. We love how it turned out and how close it is to town but still in the mountains and around wildlife. It is close enough to our hometown of Loveland so we can come up when we just need to get away. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
Close to town, activities and attractions but secluded on the mountain with a hot tub and comfortable living area. The boulders that roll off the front porch are a fun and unique feature and a great place to sit and watch the elk, deer, rabbits, chipmunks and other wildlife that might happen to wander through the yard.
