Swan Cottage - cozy cottage just steps away from the beach

This is a Fantastic 4 bedroom 2 bath home and is the second house from the beach. We have a great open-plan living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. The dining room table seats 10 and the kitchen has all dishware, pots, pans, utensils, and glasses you will need to create a spectacular meal or just Taco Tuesday. There is a screened-in porch with seating to take advantage of the Atlantic breeze or listen to the waves. One bedroom has a king-size bed with a TV and a Jack-N-Jill bath that shares a bedroom with 2 twin beds. One bedroom has 2 double and full-size Jack N Jill bathroom that shares a bedroom that has a queen. This home has been updated and beautifully decorated and should appeal to everyone. The home also offers a large carport that can be converted into another seating area.

NO SMOKING & NO PETS

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. These items will not be replenished during your stay.

Pool privileges are provided at Holiday Inn.

The property was very close to the beach. The house worked great for us. The yard and carport were perfect for our grandchildren. The open floor plan was perfect for the9 of us. The only problem is the gray fitted sheet on the king bed had a big stain on it. We changed the sheet. If the stain won’t come out, you need to use other sheets.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was ideal for the seven of us ladies. The beach access was close to enjoy the sunrise. The bedrooms are spacious and accommodating. The large dining room table allowed for eating together as well as playing games together. Jekyll Island provided many activities that delighted us all. It is also convenient for a day trip to St. Simons Island. This house had space for each of us to spread out for our private time and yet gather together to enjoy fellowship. The side screened in porch allowed being outside without the pesty insects. The experience is one we will remember fondly.

Golf trip

Location was great for our golf trip. We needed to check in early and they made it happen. Place was ready to go and keys on the table. Nice place and great experience. Will rent here again

House of roaches and black mold

Beautiful neighborhood but go inside and you will find dead and live roaches. Look up at the ceiling and theres black mold. Our first night was ruined. We went straight to house to check in and upon check-in we discovered the house was dirty and smelly. Looking around we found roaches and black mold on ceiling. The bathroom showers were dirty and the shower liner had red mold on it. The tub draines were half installed and a hazard. Beds had dead little baby roaches in them plus a side of hair. We had to argue this with the realty company. After several hours we were finally put in another house. It took till 11:30 that night to get in the house and have beds and linens delivered. This wasted our first day and half the next day because we scrambled to get everything prepared for week. Realty company was rude and said we turned down housekeeping. From where I come from housekeeping can't get rid of roaches or black mold. Renter beware!
