At Apollo on the Beach, unit 703, you'll have your own private balcony with southwest exposure, allowing you to relax and take in the beautiful sunsets night in and night out! Take in the unobstructed views of Marco Island's beautiful white sandy beaches. Unit 703 is a one bed/bath, WiFi, flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom. Beautifully re-done bathroom complete with walk-in shower! The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances and granite counters. The Sunset Grille, voted 'best happy hour' on the island, is located on the ground floor. The Apollo is the only condo on Marco Beach that has the convenience of a restaurant on the premises!

You'll find excellent restaurants in Marco and Goodland, a unique near-by fishing village. The Marco Movie Theatre serves food while you're viewing the latest movie. Many restaurants will prepare your fresh catch. Rose Marina offers boat rentals for cruising or fishing, a narrated lunch or dinner cruise around the island and Key West Excursions. We love this spot!

This end of the beach is pretty quiet. Yoga in the morning on the beach, beautiful sunsets, the Sunset Grill on the main floor is a bonus. Walkable to the square restuarants. The unit itself is very nicely layed out for a couple & had all the beach gear needed to hang out for the day!

Beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean. Not a good set up if you like to cook. The bed was comfortable. The view of the gulf is amazing! Very good for two people.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very clean, perfect to be on south beach and not have to worry about parking in the public lot for beach access. Unfortunately, the bed was terribly uncomfortable. Firm to the point it was like sleeping on the floor. There was no oven, even though the unit was listed to have one. Getting into the Apollo is difficult. You’re given a physical key to access everything including the front automatic doors and elevators. There were keycard readers so I’m not sure why they aren’t used. We spent the week fumbling to get the key to work while our hands were full with beach stuff, groceries, etc.

Perfect for a short vacation

This is a recently updated small condo, sort of an efficiency apt. that is well appointed. It is very clean and has great security measures in place. The views from the balcony are amazing and there is direct access to the beautiful beach. The kitchenette is convenient if you choose to cook. The paperwork is a little overwhelming as you are dealing with VRBO, a management company (realtor) and the complex where it is located. The management company is not reachable on weekends unless it is an emergency, but communication during the week was great.

This condo was the most disgusting condo I have ever rented. The room was dirty, including bath towels, cupboards, area rug full of hair and a bed mattress that was beyond gross. I took pictures of the mattress and gave to rental company. We checked our early. First time experiencing this.

The unit itself is nice - enough space for 2 & an incredible view. There were enough supplies to cook & eat in the unit. The sofa was the most uncomfortable thing we have ever sat on. We looked under the cushion & there was a piece of plyboard under the cushion. Come on--really?? Overall it is a great stay - the location, access to the beach & the Sunset Grille on the first floor are all great amenities. And the south end of the island has less traffic so it is nice - in my opinion.

Everything was wonderful. The condo was just as advertised and well equipped. We were not sure what we would find going so soon after Ian hit, but everything was clean and working fine. Love that all the units in the building overlook the beach.

Absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect. View, location, cleanliness. We checked in and previous occupants removed all the closet hangers. Quick call to Pat and she had new hangers delivered to our Unit. Absolutely no complaints, this was great vacation! Thank you

We loved Marco Island and the location of the Condo, and the views were spectacular. However the unit is clearly NOT Renovated, this is misleading. The picture of the lanai furniture is not accurate. The counter height table only had one chair, so this could not be used for two people. The whicker chairs did not have a small table. There was a outlet in the living room that had no cover and was not grounded (safety issue) The closet only had 4 hangers. The bathroom lacked a floor mat and hand towels. There were bath towel and wash cloths that were in ratty condition. The beach chairs were in rough shape, not much life left in them. The plastic plants and plastic hanging plant are truly outdated. With all the taxes, fees, double booking charges, the price per night did not represent the condition of the unit.

It would take so little to be a five * rating

Pardon the length but in fairness to the owner and future tenants I think it is necessary. Note that we were there for four weeks. Perhaps it should be a one week rental only. Positives: Unit was very clean, nice toaster, great coffee pot, bed very comfortable, shower great. Air conditioner worked well as did the ceiling fans. We loved that we were not near the elevator nor the laundry room. Negatives: The lanai furniture was just not thought out. There was no short table to use between the chairs and have morning coffee or evening drinks. There was a tall cocktail party but one could not use that and there was another chair that was just awkward. We brought in the large plastic container and the cooler from the storage area (beach chairs, etc.) and stacked them as a table. All it would take is to get rid of that tall table and the other chair. Keep the lounger and add two shorter tables. The arrangement of the room inside was also awkward. Check online and you will see most units hang the TV to save space (do the same in the bedroom). That would allow you to remove the bulky cupboard. There is a nice sofa and a table on one side of the sofa plus a very large papa san type chair on the other side but no side table. I would remove the papa san chair, put in a smaller comfortable chair and an end table between the sofa and smaller chair. I personally would take way all of the fake plants because they take up space in an already small unit and are dust catchers. I would definitely remove the hanging one. . The kitchen area is what it is. Great dishwasher, adequate fridge. The pots are nice in case you want to cook something like sauce or soup but bring your own small 8-9" small pan. There are frying pans but they are way too big for the burners so if you want to fry an egg or grill something you are trying to maneuver between the two burners. So awkward. We bought one while we were there but did take it home. We also bought a mat for the front door since, after two days, we realized how much sand got into the unit. Not surprised. The mat should still be there. Overall, I would give this a 3 but if you are there for a week it is just fine. I checked other listings in the same building and many were much better laid out. Perhaps the owner should stay in the unit and get a feel for it. The management company is great and I credit the cleaning to them. They were responsive and very easy to work with.

Ocean retreat

Just needed to chill for a few days. This small one bedroom was perfect. Unfortunately the restaurant on first floor was closed for cleaning. It was why I chose this condo. It was VERY hot (107 heat index) and the unit’s ac was excellent! It ran cold for many days! I was very grateful!
