The Blanco River Retreat consists of TWO newly renovated houses situated on 6 riverfront, rolling acres nestled in the heart of the hill county between Wimberley and Blanco, Texas - within a 15-45 minute drive from most hill country destinations. Blanco River Retreat was featured in Texas Monthly magazine as a top rated vacation spot.

The Retreat comfortably accommodate 23 guests with 5 private bedrooms and 2 bedrooms that can be private or shared. Less bunking up and more privacy!

There is plenty of room in the lodge house for everyone to congregate and enjoy each other, yet the two houses allow plenty of space for everyone to spread out as well - a great feature to have in a property. The two houses are approx 100 yards a part.

You will have easy access to 255 yards of the beautiful Blanco River - that's over 2 football fields long y'all. We have easy river rock beach access to the river and have varying depths in our section of the river - all dependent on rainfall of course. .

Our Main Lodge is 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms featuring plenty of entertaining space, 3 private bedrooms with baths and a recreational/bunk room suite. Each bedroom has a king sized bed and a private full bathroom. The downstairs bunk room/suite has a queen bed and twin bed (bunk style) in a semi- private corner room, and a queen pull-out sofa bed with a premium mattress in the open area with a smart TV with Direct TV, wet bar, mini fridge, full bathroom, and direct access to outside.

Our farmhouse inspired converted barn is 2 bedrooms, 1 large shared loft and 2.5 baths. The barn-house has two bedrooms downstairs (one king bedroom and one queen bedroom). Both rooms share a large full bathroom and a half bath on the first floor. An exterior staircase leads to an adorable farmhouse loft that is perfect for families, a teen hang out, or like minded guests. The upstairs loft has a full bathroom, 2 queen beds, 1 full sized bed, a pull out sofa, smart TV and DVD and a table and chairs for games/puzzles, etc.

The two kitchens are new with all major appliances and fully stocked with dishes, silverware, bar ware and serve ware.

The property also features a large, resort style swimming pool, an over-sized hot tub large enough to seat 10 people, and a cozy fire pit. All in a beautiful spot in the Blanco River valley. THE POOL IS NOT HEATED.

Both houses have amazing views and direct access to the Blanco river. We welcome you all to come sit by the river and make life long memories with those you love.

SURVEILLANCE NOTE: There a security camera mounted on the barn-house. This is more than 100 yards away from the pool and river areas.

We love small, intimate events and we provide a beautiful valley back-drop. Our event headcount limit is 30 (with a limit of 23 residing at the property).
