Place exceeded expectations. One thing that really impressed us was the full kitchen for cooking and the stuff they had for the beach, including snorkeling stuff and boogie boards

I booked this place for part of my husband’s family to stay nearby, and they said it was lovely and they were happy there. I didn’t actually see the place, but also didn’t hear any complaints.
LOVED this property! It was very modern but also with local vibe, helped feel the vacation time. Location is great if you have a car as all best beaches are within 10-20 min drive. You can walk for some shopping/restaurants 20mins or so and around 30 min to the nearest beach. I had a bike and for me it was ideal to get on the best part of the highway with wife shoulder to do a workout. Those villas are also not a highway and you can enjoy quite mornings and nights.
We stayed here for six nights and had an amazing time. The place is spotless with super cute decor. It was stocked with just about everything you could ask for. Just a couple minor things: there were no cooking seasonings or oils- not even salt and pepper. The other downside was that the cooler they provided was so huge we couldn’t even get it on our rental car. It would be great to provide a cooler bag or something smaller for day trips. But again these are minor things. The place is very comfortable and the complex is very quiet (no traffic, no chickens, etc). We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved this place. It’s everything described and shown in the pictures. Very clean and great location. We visit the big island quite often since we have family that lives there and we thought this was the best place in terms of decor/cleanliness. Usually the homes are dated and in my opinion quite ugly. It does not have a view but it is close to the pool/hot tub. Would definitely recommend or maybe I don’t, because I’m hoping it’s available when we visit again! We had a 3 year old and some of the furniture might not work for a younger toddler but he was just fine.

We spent a wonderful week staying at 2306 Waikoloa Colony Villas! It was our first time to the Big Island and the unit provided the perfect home base for our explorations. In terms of the condo itself, it is absolutely lovely. It is filled with local art, has air conditioning, the kitchen is well stocked, and the complex landscaping is beautiful. The beaches around Waikoloa were definitely our favorites, in particular Hapuna Beach and the beach in front of Mauna Kea Resort. Although parking is limited at Mauna Kea, the beach is lovely, quiet, and provided some great snorkeling and turtle sightings. It was also nice that hotel restaurants were available for lunch at both locations. The Kona Concierge service that comes complimentary with unit was helpful but I’d like to note that many of the recommendations were focused more in the Kona area, which is a solid 35-40 minute drive from Waikoloa. We were referred to a luau at the Royal Kona resort and I definitely would not recommend this luau to others. There are plenty of other luaus available at hotels within 15 minutes that would have been much better. The snorkeling and manta ray trips we did with Sea Paradise were great and were also out of Kona. Just note there are closer options in Waikoloa for both types of trips. The driving days the concierge recommended were perfect and we had a great time exploring the northern and southern parts of the island. The roads around the island are very well maintained and easy to navigate. And it was surprising how accessible some of the the waterfalls are. For grocery shopping, I’d recommend the KPC Superstore 10 minutes away in Waikoloa Village. In terms of restaurants, we were disappointed to find out that Lava Lava was closed for renovations, but we had a great time going to restaurants at nearby hotels, including the Four Seasons, Westin, Mauna Kea, Fairmont Orchid and Hilton Waikoloa Village. Most of them have complimentary valet parking if you eat at the restaurants. All of the hotel restaurants have lovely ocean views and good food. If you’re interested in going this route for dinners, I’d highly recommend reservations in advance. There are restaurants in nearby shopping malls as well, but we wanted to soak up as much of the ocean view as possible. To sum up, we definitely would recommend this unit as a great option for your Big Island vacation!
Nice spacious fully equipped condo in great location close to the shopping (~20 minutes walk) and to the beach (+10 more minutes walk). Much faster if you drive. Unlike Kona, Waikoloa was sunny throughout all our stay. It can be windy, however, much more often than Kona, but the wind was warm and did not bother us.
We had a great time in this perfectly located rental. We were visiting to watch a friend compete in lavaman so were pleased with the proximity to the race, restaurants and beach! The rental was very clean and had anything we needed for our stay.

This is a beautiful property. Spotless, clean, airy, light and close to everything you need. The unit is well appointed and everything is in excellent condition. We enjoyed the location as it is 10 minutes from the best beaches. Easy check in. Highly recommend!
Great location on the big island. Near shopping, beaches, short drive to Kona. Condo was decked out with plenty of “extras” including kitchen supplies, beach equipment, chairs, bags, etc. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Grounds a well kept and safe to take a morning run. 10/10 recommend and would stay again. Thank you!!
