    This was the best part of our Hawaii trip. I wish we had stayed here the entire time. We actually enjoyed the fact that you will do a good bit of walking here. The tram is great (especially when hauling luggage), but, otherwise, we preferred to stroll the walkway, get some fresh air, and look at the art.

Check in service was below average, took over an hour (only 5 groups waiting to check in) as half the staff available was trying to push the time shares rather than checking in travelers.     Beautiful resort. Great location. Both the tram and the boats (which haven't ran in years) were not operating for 90% of our stay due to a recent tram accident. (We were told by the VRBO host that the boats were running. ??) Thankfully we are very capable of walking long distances without any issues. But this may not be the case for everyone. The Ocean Tower is a good hike from the main lobby. The room was great. Quiet. Minimum interaction with the staff. Check-in was easy. Parking is very pendy.
