I enjoyed your stay immensely! You and your families were one of the most interesting visitors I have hosted. I surely would like to meet up with you again!
Best Regards,
Glenn
I was traveling with a group of folks. We stayed overnight before heading to go searching for elk. Would’ve loved to stay longer. Looking forward to staying at Glenn’s beautiful home next year.
The property was beautiful, plenty of space for our family to sleep. Beds were a little firm, house is cozy, 70s decor. Property owner lives in back quarters of home and was very friendly.

Not What Was Expected
First, let me preface by saying we have rented many ‘owner lives on property’ VRBOs: upstairs, downstairs, next door always behind a locked door. NEVER behind a billfold door that doesn’t shut properly. Never in a position where the owner just pops in whenever to join the conversation and certainly never had a sibling stop by, proclaiming ‘my brother owns this house. I’m here to drop off this computer and take him to dinner.’ while traipsing through the space. Our first impression was an iced over driveway - just a sheet of ice. Most of kitchen items/appliances were either dusty, sticky or both. There was a hard water film at the bottom of the tea kettle so we skipped using that. The intricate system of trash separation would have been fine if the cans had actually been emptied at some point. There is no indication that there are ‘shared spaces’ in the description - you have to click on the pictures for that info. My wife and I stayed in the master. We left our clothes in open suitcases on the floor since the dresser, closet and nightstand were filled with personal belongings. It was an awkward experience that could have been better.
We are family strong and this fit the bill. Large quaint home with good ole family charm. Perfect for our large family. No air conditioning but house stayed cool and comfortable.
Our group wanted to stay together as we visited the Elk Expo so we picked this house where we could hang out together when we weren't out riding. Glenn was so helpful for months ahead of our visit, quickly answering any questions we shot at him. He telephoned the night before our arrival and gave us detailed instructions on accessing the house when we arrived and some various things like where to put recyclables. When we got there, it was exactly as it was described, so we easily had assigned rooms to various couples and it worked out perfectly. There were four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and a large living room and very large kitchen where we thoroughly enjoyed making meals and eating together. Glenn left everything we could possibly need - a number of papers describing nearby shops, businesses and attractions. He told us where the wood pile was so we could make an evening campfire. We found a grocery store only 5 miles away and we had a great time in this spacious house and would definitely choose this location again if we were to go to that area. Glenn was an amazing host!

I was away during Ed's group's stay, so I missed meeting them. I am sure it would have been enjoyable to get to know this group! I hope they return again when I am home!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Paradise Suites. Glen is an amazing host and have arranged bonfire for us every night. The best part of this property is July4th fireworks. The property gave us a spectacular view of this fireworks. I would recommend this to anyone interested in visiting Allegheny forest and around area.

The house was very clean and spacious. Enough bathrooms for everyone. Very peaceful and in the country. Enjoyed evening fires with our host Glenn. He even shared family recipes with us. Would stay again.

It was a pleasure hosting Sandra and her family. It was enjoyable to interact with her very-well-behaved grandchildren and the rest of her group! Come back again!
The property was very nice. We were not aware the owner lived there but it didn’t matter he was very nice. The property was a little farther away from what we went there for but we knew it was not real close. Everything was very clean, the owner was very accommodating when we wanted to have a fire. I would recommend this property.

It was great to have George and his party stay here. They were very easy to have. I didn't really see much of them, as they were busy sightseeing in the area all weekend, only coming back here after dark. They had a nice campfire in the back yard Saturday night, which was pleasant for them. They are not the first to be surprised that I stay on the premises, as a caretaker/host, in my office and a back room on the west wing of the house, even though my website pictures and descriptions tell of the shared areas as being "shared with other guests and the host". We have 3 separate suites here which can be rented individually. When you rent the whole house, you get all 3 suites and access to the shared areas. The house is large enough that I can stay in a secluded wing of the house and be as "invisible" of a caretaker/gardener/host as my guests want me to be. Sorry you were not clear on the host staying here,, but it is really better for the comfort of your stay (I am available to supply things you may need and answer any questions you may have) and the safety of your belongings, as usually my guests are gone all day. While this is definitely a low-crime neighborhood, you can travel around during the day with a mind at ease, doubly knowing your luggage is safe and secure.
I will welcome George and his crew back anytime! I would enjoy a repeat visit, to get a chance to get to know them all better!
