Although I expected the house to be closer to Lake Merritt, it was convenient access to freeway and downtown Oakland. The house was equipped with everything I needed and the host was responsive to any questions I had.

What a GEM! The apartment is so cute and cozy with all the amenities you need! The bed was SO comfortable!The locations is killer, super close to the lake and lots of places to explore! Wonderful, friendly and communicative hosts. We have family very close by and would absolutely stay here again!

Geuinely a great stay

Extremely clean with all provided house supplies easy to locate. Having access to the driveway was really great for avoiding street parking. Also it's a great place to stay if you have little ones they provide small basic furnitures like high chairs and stools.

Great location, great space!

We enjoyed 5 days in this spacious apartment within walking distance of Lake Merritt. The neighborhood is quiet and parking is available. The kitchen had everything we needed and the courtyard offered lovely space to relax in the afternoon sun. Karina was very responsive and check-in and out instructions were clear and concise. This was a good stay. The hosts were kinda and responsive. The house is nice but had bad sound insulation. We could hear the dog upstairs, conversations our hosts were having, and the neighbors had a loud get together that kept us up till late at night on Friday. The house also needs some small repairs like a new kitchen faucet and working cold water in one of the bathroom sinks.It was a good location for us and we appreciated that we had access to parking. The neighborhood is safe but there is a lot of trash etc. on the street in the area.
