Luxury chalet Samoëns 14p, close to ski slopes and village center

The chalet is a 5-minute walk from the village center with shops, restaurants, family activities, nightlife, cinema, and direct access to hiking / mountain biking paths in summer and 10 minutes from the Grand Massif ski area. You will appreciate the common living spaces, the comfort, the height of the ceilings, the location, the views, the warmth, the outdoor and relaxation spaces, the bedding, the fireplace. The chalet is perfect for couples, families (with children) and large groups.

This chalet built in 2017 is ideally located 5 minutes walk from all the amenities for skiing and the village center. Our chalet is a unique project designed by two ski enthusiasts which combines both the proximity of the lively and typical alpine village all year round and one of the largest ski areas in France. We wanted it resolutely warm, modern, sustainable and turned towards the mountain. At the end of a dead end, quiet and yet only 5 minutes from the village square, the old lime tree, the terraces and the entertainment. We hope you will feel as good as we do!

You will have access to the entire chalet. On the ground floor, the living rooms, a master suite with bathroom (Italian shower), and laundry room, ski room, boot warmers and ski lockers, sauna, garage. The garden, the terrace, deckchairs and garden furniture, parasol, barbecue, plancha. On the first floor, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large relaxation room with table football, video projector and cinema screen, library, board games. On the 2nd floor a mezzanine bedroom under the roof (height 2m).

A concierge service is available on request for
- deliver your meals at home (breakfasts, half-board meals, choice of various dishes (Raclette, Fondue, Mountain, Japanese, Italian ...), Wine cellar
- have a chef at home
- book your ski lessons, train station / airport transfers, Spa, treatments
- book and deliver ski equipment to the chalet.

We are of course at your disposal to exchange by email / sms / phone if you want information or advice on the chalet or the region. On site you will be welcomed by our team who can answer your questions or intervene if necessary regarding the chalet. Welcome !

Fabulous Chalet - amazing kitchen

Large, very well appointed chalet, brilliant for larger groups of friends or family. The best kitchen we have ever had from a Vrbo property (and we have stayed in numerous) by far. Great location, just a couple of minutes walk into the village centre.

Our favourite chalet in Samoëns

We just love this chalet - this was our fourth stay, this time for 3 weeks. It is beautifully appointed and decorated, spacious and perfectly located. The location is extremely quiet but it's an easy 150m walk to the town. The property manager is helpful and responsive, the owners are helpful and friendly in their communications.

Stunning chalet in a perfect location

We were delighted to return to this beautiful chalet - exceptionally spacious and comfortable, extremely well equipped with high quality items. Very warm and friendly check in, with help available if you need it. Incredible location very close to town but away from all the roads. Thank you :-)

Home is beautifully done, beds and linen are very comfortable, kitchen has everything that you could need. It is a quick walk to town which is a good thing because I was not aware that buses were not running. There was no public transportation, no masseuse or chef available to come to the house because of the dates of our stay but restaurants, grocery, bakery, ice rink etc is an easy walk. It was magical using the hot tub as it snowed! Would 100 recommend staying here. If public transportation is important just check your dates. The town, setting and locals were perfect. Fabrice was our driver for some outings and the airport and would highly recommend him!

Family gathering in the Alps

We were a family group of 8 adults and 6 children celebrating my 70th birthday. That facilities at the chalet and the attention of the owner, Frederic, and agent, JP, made this an experience which we will treasure for ever. We are seasoned travellers to the Alps for Summer and Winter activities and regard our stay at Chalet Mont d’Issy as one of the best and most luxurious. Even though the location was close to the centre of town we chose to cater for ourselves and stay in most nights, enticed by the array of entertainment, the sauna, the log fire and games for the kids. Access to the slopes by bus from the end of our private lane was easy. I have tried to think of a downside to our stay but can not think of one.

Fabulous property

Lovely spacious chalet & very well equipped. The hot tub and sauna were a welcome extra at the end of the day. I would recommend the property but not with younger children as the access to the mezzanine bedroom is very steep, we had teenagers which was fine. We had a little delay in accessing the chalet as there was not an English speaker answering the contact number and we don’t speak enough French for a telephone conversation. We had a few minor issues with the property that were quickly rectified by the management company. The ski bus stop is only a couple of minutes walk if you don’t want to drive to the lifts or wish to ski at different times to your drivers.

Wonderful

Excellent chalet - by far the best we’ve stayed in. Samoëns is a delightful base for skiers and non-skiers and just a few minutes walk to the shops and square. Plenty of free shuttle buses, and close to the riverside paths for walking and running. Beautiful views towards the mountains. Communications with the owner and property manager were prompt. Extremely clean and well furnished, with good basics in place and excellent instructions. The owners have thought of everything. The property manager arranged a masseuse (Leah) for the non skiers - excellent and good value. Plenty of wood for the beautiful fire place. Hot tub and sauna both well maintained and a pleasure to use. The sofa is large and there’s an extension to the dining table so everyone can be seated together - perfect for the 13 of us! Ample parking for 3 cars. Excellent laundry and drying facilities for clothes and ski boots. Comfy beds. Plenty of hot water. Brilliant place!

Superbe chalet bien situé

Nous avons passé 1 semaine en famille élargie dans le chalet, 5 adultes, 3 enfants et 3 bébés. Le chalet est spacieux, très bien équipé, et pensé aussi pour les enfants et bébés (jeux, babyfoot, lits parapluies, etc).Très bien situé par rapport aux commerces et au centre de samoens, tout se fait à pied. (A noter, ce n'était pas une semaine de ski, donc je ne sais pas évaluer la logistique pour le ski, la remontée mécanique se situe à environ 20 minutes de marche)Très bon accueil de Fanny, aux petits soins pour nous aider et nous rendre le séjour agréable. Nous reviendrions avec plaisir

Vacances parfaites dans un chalet de grand confort.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au chalet « Le Mont d’ISSY » : les aménagements sont bien pensés, la literie est de qualité et les espaces de vie sont magnifiquement agencés. Le chalet possède tous les équipements nécessaires et une semaine de vacances ne nous a pas permis de tout « tester » : il faudra que nous y revenions ! La localisation est idéale dans la mesure où elle associe le calme du voisinage et la proximité du centre-ville où nous avons particulièrement apprécié le traiteur « Pied De Poule ». Une destination à conseiller sans aucune hésitation !

Chalet au top

Hébergement parfait sauf une chambre en mezzanine avec un escalier raide. Super prestations avec le jacuzzi et le sauna. Pièce de vie tres accueillante. Un peu loin des pistes mais l’arrêt de bus est juste à côté et le bus est gratuit pour aller aux pistes. 5 minutes de route environ. Nous recommandons.

On a envie d’y rester !

Séjour en été à 9 personnes N’y allons pas par Quatre Chemins… Ce chalet est superbe et tout est fait et pensé pour que nos vacances se passent bien. L’emplacement permet de tout faire à pied. La terrasse permet de satisfaire tout le monde avec soleil ou ombre. Le salon est grand pour accueillir tout le monde en étant bien à l’aise. La cuisine est hyper bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Les chambres sont confortables. Côté détente : jeux de société, Ping Pong, basket, trampoline, jacuzzi, sauna …. Bref une adresse comme on les aime.

Short but worth it!

We arrived ready for a fun week in the snow with another family (both families with 1 x 4yr old and 1 x 20 month old) and after a seemless check in and a fantastic tour of the property we cooked a yummy dinner in the very well equipped kitchen, put the kids down in the well designed and well positioned bedrooms then enjoyed a glass of wine in the very comfortable, open space living area.... only to wake up to the news that France were on lock down due to covid-19 and that we should leave as soon as possible. We changed our flights to Wednesday so we could still enjoy a further 2 days in the beautiful chalet and explore the quiet but amazing Samoens town. We are gutted we didn't get to stay the full week but the little time we did have there we absolutely loved it and will be booking another week next year!

Fantastic chalet

Quite easily the best I chalet I have ever stayed at. A blend of traditional and modern design, this vast chalet is feautured with all bells and whistles from sauna to ski boots racks to home cinema to hi-end kitchen. Indeed, the amount of thought and effort put into every square inch of the chalet is remarkable. Add a very friendly and competent support team from La Conciergerie du Grand Massif and there you have the makings of a perfect vacation. Recommended unreservedly.

Lovely chalet , very well equipped

We had a fabulous holiday in this very comfortable , beautiful chalet. it was very well equiped with modern appliances and facilities. We were a family with young children and especially apreciated the toys and garden. Everything was new and clean.

A great stay in all respects

This was our second summer stay at this beautiful chalet and we hope to go there again. It occupies a special, quiet location close to town. It is superbly appointed and lovingly maintained. The managing agents were warm, welcoming and can help with any information or service. Can't fault it!
