Lovely home, with everything a weary traveler could possibly need. All the extras, such as the breakfasts Victoria provided as well as the coffee and creamer and butter, etc to go with it were greatly appreciated. On top of that she went above and beyond to make our anniversary very special. I highly recommend this house!
Really enjoyed our stay here. House was completely renovated and had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable beds and lots of little extras everywhere. While we arrived on one of the hottest days of the year in Fairbanks, the fans in the house kept the place cool and we did not feel the need for air conditioning (almost nowhere in Fairbanks has it). Being in downtown, we were able to walk to many places, and we were centrally located to drive anywhere else we needed. The owner is very responsive to messages and helpful if you need her, but does not get in your way if you don't. SO much better than a hotel for your Fairbanks stay!

About the host

I was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska so I have seen many long, dark, cold winters. And I have thrived many short, hot, and bright summers! Whichever you decide to visit, you will be welcomed to the Golden Heart City. Come stay at our Fireweed House.
Why they chose this property
I love living in downtown Fairbanks myself, so I want to share my home town with the people who visit. When a small house close by came up for sale that really needed some TLC, I decided to take the plunge and invest in my town and myself. My life dream is coming true and this is it! I love to meet new people and I have a nurturing personality so the hospitality business is perfect for me, and I can't wait to meet YOU! Experience downtown Fairbanks, it is a great place to be.
What makes this property unique
This house has been fully gutted and re-done. The outside siding and roof is new, the inside walls have been re-arranged, the stairs have been moved and re-created, it is practically a brand new house. New floors, blinds, appliances, kitchen cabinets, even the kitchen sink is new ... Along with that comes ALL new furniture, all new bedding from Macy's, and more. All especially for my guests. YOU, I hope!
