House in beautiful surroundings by Sejerøbugten. Close to the beach, woods and shop

Brand new cottage built in autumn of 2014. Great spacious living room/kitchen with access to a large terrace and magnificent covered garden. Large windows provide plenty of light. The 8 beds in 4 bedrooms all have mattresses. 2 rooms at opposite ends of the house, perfect for two families. The two bathrooms both have a shower, one has a hot tub and the other a washing machine. The kitchen contains a cooker, ceramic hob, coffee maker, dishwasher and direct access to the terrace. Great on a summer day, it's like moving the kitchen outside.
The house is on an unusually sheltered spot which extends the summer heat.
The buried trampoline and other outdoor activities in the garden were made in the spring of 2015.

Sehr schönes Haus mit tollem Außengelände

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und unsere Kinder waren von dem Außengelände begeistert. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Eigentümer! Die Landschaft ist ebenfalls sehr beeindruckend. Da es wegen der Jahreszeit sehr kühl war, waren wir nur einmal am Strand. Dieser wirkte auch sehr gut, übers Baden können wir aber nichts sagen. Wir nutzen unseren Aufenthalt zu einem empfehlenswerten Ausflug nach Roskilde in das Wikingerschiffmuseum und den Dom. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit!

Buyer Beware. This cottage physically was fairly new and therefore quite nice. But......

Where we had a problem was in the management of the property. We had booked this cottage from Canada and the vrbo website clearly stated that linen was provided. Upon arrival we were informed that this was not so and linen and towels must be rented. On top of that you must keep track of the power used during your stay and pay for that as well. On top of that when the propane tank went dry we paid over 40 Cdn dollars to refill that. On top of that we left many usable supplies that were left over from our stay like paper towels etc. This is quite normal and we have done so many times in past rentals. The difference being past rentals didn't nickel and dime you for using the place after you had rented it! Also there was no English tv stations. A little disappointing as Denmarks second language is English. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this cottage and in this area of Denmark. However buyers must be better informed of the local customs of charging you for things on top of the rental price. Communication is the key!!

Einfach schön

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Haus und ich kann es nur empfehlen. Die Umgebung ist toll - wenn man Steinstrände, Flohmärkte und die Gelassenheit Dänemarks mag -, und das Haus ist wirklich schön und gut ausgestattet. Dazu kommt, dass die Vermieter extrem nett und unkompliziert sind. Jederzeit wieder gerne :-)

Tolles Haus für die ganze Familie

Wir haben mit 4 Erwachsenen und unserer fünf Monate alten Tochter entspannte 5 Tage in diesem modernen und schön eingerichteten Haus verbracht. Besonders gut gefiel uns der toll angelegte Garten. Hier können die Erwachsenen entspannen, während sich die Kinder (oder aber auch die Eltern ;)) an den Spielgeräten austoben können. Das einzige was uns nicht ganz so gut gefiel war die Lage und der Strand - ohne Auto kann man hier wirklich nicht viel machen. Trotzdem würden wir jederzeit wiederkommen.

Vi er 8 ældre mennesker der havde 3 gode dage. Huset er dejlig lyst og har en lækker terrasse. Der er gode senge i alle værelser, hvilket man sætter pris på som ældre. Kontakten til udlejer har fungeret fint via mail.

Traumhafter Familienurlaub

Hinter uns liegen zwei wunderschöne Urlaubswochen in Veddinge. Wir waren insgesamt 7 Personen: 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kleinkinder. Das Haus ist ideal für zwei Familien und bietet alles, was man braucht. Wir haben viel gekocht und auch den tollen Außengrill genutzt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, wir konnten sogar Kuchen backen. Lediglich eine Mikrowelle hat uns gefehlt. Auch der Garten bietet alles, was kleine Kinderherzen begehren: Trampolin, Sandkasten (mit Sandspielzeug), Fußballtore, Schaukeln. Und viel Platz für eigene Außenspiele wie Federball oder Wikingerschach. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig, man hört nachts nur die Grillen zirpen. Man fühlt sich sicher, kann Spielsachen/Fahrräder ohne Sorgen im Garten stehen lassen. Außerdem hatten wir fast täglich Besuch von 2 Rehen im Garten, die wir durch die großen Fenster beobachten konnten :-). Die komplette Ausstattung ist neu und qualitativ hochwertig (Töpfe von WMF etc.) Auch der Whirlpool wurde zum Entspannen genutzt. Alles ist sauber und sehr modern. Internet und Fernsehen funktionieren einwandfrei. Als wir ein Problem mit dem Kühlschrank feststellten, reagierten die Vermieter schnell und unkompliziert, indem wir einen Ersatzkühlschrank bekamen und am nächsten Tag war auch schon der freundliche Techniker da. Wir haben viele Ausflüge unternommen: Radtouren im Geopark Odsherred (das Haus befindet sich sozusagen mittendrin), Makrelenfischen auf einem Kutter, Fahrten nach Kopenhagen, Roskilde und Trelleborg. Auch zu den Klippen "Stevns Klint" und an die wunderbaren ruhigen Strände in der Umgebung. Absolut empfehlenswert sind die Strände bei Vindekilde und Høve. Klares, flaches Wasser und feiner Sand. Wir empfehlen das Haus zu 100% weiter und sagen ganz herzlich DANKESCHÖN für die tolle Zeit!

Great week in a great house!

We really had a wonderful week in this lovely new built house! The kids enjoyed them selves on the ground, jumping trampoline, playing football and sat on the swings. A perfekt spot for them. From the large deck it's easy to get sun all day long and is also a good relaxing spot. The modern house is well planned for two families and feels spacious. There are a few good beaches in the area and the nearest one is good for a quick morning/evening swim. Don't miss Sjaellands Odde and Rørvig is you want to do outings.

Lækkert hus, god beliggenhed og dejlige omgivelser

Lejede sommerhuset et weekend, hvor vi som familie (2 voksne og 1 barn) tilbragte en skøn weekend. Huset er utrolig dejligt hvor alt fremstår nyt og lækkert. Masser af plads, en dejlig terrasse og en skøn stor have indrettet med gynge, sandkasse og trampolin. Noget som vores datter på 2 år satte utrolig meget pris på. Alt fungerede upåklageligt, og udlejer er troværdig og venlig. Helt sikkert et sted som vi gerne vil tilbage til på et andet tidspunkt.

Super dejligt sted, lækkert hus og god beliggenhed

Vi er en familie på 2 voksne og 1 barn, der lejede huset henover en forlænget weekend. Vi havde en fantastisk weekend, hvor især vores lille datter på 2 år var utrolig glad for den dejlige have, gyngerne, trampolinen og sandkassen. Derudover er huset rigtig lækkert, hvor alt fremstår nyt og moderne. Dejlig terrasse, hvor vi tilbragte mange timer, mens vores datter legede i haven. Vil klart anbefale andre at leje sommerhuset. En sand fornøjelse, hvis man ønsker at leje et sommerhus, hvor alt spiller. Derudover er udlejer yderst venlige og der var ingen problemer i forbindelse med leje af sommerhuset.

Schönes Ferienhaus das keine Wünsche offen lässt

Sehr schönes und neu gebautes Ferienhaus mit einem riesigen Grundstück.Hier kann man sich super wohl fühlen und die Ruhe geniessen.Es ist alles was man braucht im Haus vorhanden.Was uns vor allem super gefallen hat ist der Whirlpool ,die Terrasse mit den schönen Sonnenliegen und der Gasgrill .Nur die Lage des Ferienhauses hat uns nicht ganz zugesagt aber das ist ja auch Geschmackssache.

We are a family who has just built this house. It is our private house as we use in our holiday. The house is furnished as we like it.
We only live about 5 km from the house, but enjoy taking a break in the house once in a while.
We are a family of 2 adults and 3 younger children.

Why they chose this property

Our cottage is located in the stunning scenic area of the Veddinge Hills, close to some of Odsherred’s best beaches. The house is new and inviting. We have made sure that the house is arranged so as to experience being together as a family, which we believe to be very important when you are on holiday. The kitchen and living room is the central part of the house. While standing in the kitchen, it is possible to observe the activities taking place inside and outside.
The bedrooms are placed in pairs at opposite ends of the house with 1 attached bathroom. Check the floor plan in the pictures.

What makes this property unique

We have been an active part of the construction process. The house is a brand new model and therefore the first of its kind. We have been able to make the renovations that suit us.
We own and rent the house next door so it is possible also to rent it out if you need to accommodate more than 8 people.
