This property is located on the beautiful Frio River in Concan, Texas at Magers river Crossing. This part of the river is a hot spot for tubing, kayaking or just relaxing in the river. The houses are fully equipped with all your basic needs in the kitchen. We supply all of your bedding for the 8 people this house will sleep. We have wifi and satellite TV. It is a spacious house with open kitchen and living area. The porch has beautiful views of the Mountains to the west. In the evenings and mornings you can watch the wildlife around the property. There is 800' of private river access along with a pool for all of our guests to enjoy. This house is approximately 75 yards from the river. You are minutes away from Garner State Park, House Pasture, Joe Jimmy's where you can enjoy Live entertainment.

Great cabin and great location!

The cabin was great! Is was clean and had everything my family need. We especially liked that we could grill, access to a pool, and how close we were to Garner State Park. Will defiantly stay there again when we go to Garner!

Great location and the house was perfect for our family. Grounds were very well maintained and Nina was amazing. We will definitely be back next year. (Please add that you need to bring your own bath towels to the listing)

Rowdy Crowd but Lovely Cabin

Our family loved the cabin and we loved the river spots available to our area. But...with it being on Labor Day weekend, it was an overcrowded mess with the most uncooperative guests. The property has quiet hours starting at 10pm but it doesn't matter when no one is around to regulate those rules. There was a major group of people that rented out the majority of the cabins on our weekend. They blared music to compete with others on the river for hours at a time, I mean louder than being next to a speaker at a concert. Some others got into an altercation with other guests separate from their party. For my family particularly it became problematic when some older kids (unsupervised) were approaching my cabin seemingly lost and high. Luckily their party drove around to find them and carried them away. But that put my family in a tight position. That was not something I wanted to face in front of my young kids. I need something more family friendly for my next trip.

Wonderful Stay at the Frio

Amazing! House was extremely clean and had everything you would need! Beautiful property and private access to the river. The section of the river was perfect for young kids to play in calm water and there is a section of rapids to float down too. We will 100% stay again!

BOOK IT!!

Pictures don't do this location justice. The house was a lot more than expected and bigger. The outside environment was better than any previous locations we have stayed around that area. Privacy of location allowed kids to explore and adults to enjoy varies activities. We will definitely be back this year and already coordinating with relatives to reserve multiple rentals for us all to enjoy at one time. Thank You!!

GREAT FAMILY GETAWAY FROM THE CITY

The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor grill And table was nice. It was only my family of 4, but another small family could easy stay in the other bedroom. It was perfect for people of all ages especially young children. The pool wasn’t great but it was another way to to get these kids tired. The location was great with Garner being so close. It was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back.

This property was bought in 2017. We had a dream to build beautiful houses on the Frio River with amazing views. We were so lucky to be able to build our dream. Our family has held the Tri-Canyon dearly in our heart for many years. It is a special place to make memories for our family and we hope you make memories like we have when you stay with us.

Why they chose this property

Our property is located right on Magers Crossing. This is a hotspot for Kayaking and Tubing. We are located a couple miles from Garner State Park. There are so many fun things to do while staying with us. Hiking, Tubing, Kayaking, Bird watching, Swimming, Dancing, Golfing, Horseback riding, shopping and spending time with your loved ones.

What makes this property unique

The views from our houses are amazing. In the mornings and evenings you can watch the deer, birds, rabbits, squirrels and many other types of wildlife from your porch. It's a wonderful experience and we hope you stay with us to make memories.
