This 2 Bedroom Condo has one of the most amazing views at Inn of the Sea!
The main living space is on the top floor and boasts heated tile floors in the custom built, modern kitchen and bathroom.
The main bedroom has a King bed with comfortable memory foam mattress, beautiful bedding , lots of closet space and custom built in bank of drawers for clothes. You will appreciate the motorized blackout roller shades.
The living area has modern yet cozy furniture, with many seating options making entertaining easy. The Queen Cabinet bed with comfortable memory foam mattress is great for extra guests or kids. There is a large screen TV with free Netflix, Prime and Cable The floor to ceiling picture windows to fully capitalize on the view furnished with gorgeous motorized roller shades, and a great deck that enjoys morning sun and killer views of Stuart Channel.
The second bedroom has its own entrance and separate bathroom with shower and tub. The bed is a very comfy Queen and there is another large screen TV with free cable, Netflix and Prime. This room is beautifully appointed and comes with it's own coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge.
The Resort itself has many enviable amenities such as a dock for boats up to 30' and 2 buoys for boats larger, tennis courts, children's playground, laundry on site, heated outdoor pool and hot tub, beachfront fire pit and much more!
Conveniently located between Ladysmith and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island - a drive through the countryside and then stop when you reach the ocean! Life is good here!

Wonderful! The location was great - with an amazing view. Our family spent hours every day walking the shoreline at low tide - looking at all sorts of sea life (crabs, star fish, anemone, shells etc). The condo was extremely well stocked and the resort has great facilities (tennis, basketball, playground, pool, hot tub, more) Even though there is no AC - there were tons of fans to help cool down the unit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - and can’t wait to go back.

We had a fantastic stay and the condo exceeded our expectations. Everything one would need for a week's stay was included right down to the fresh coffee beans. Communication from the owner was extremely helpful without being intrusive. One note: the upper floor gets extremely hot in warm weather. Thankfully there are multiple fans and shades that can be used to mitigate this to some degree - and of course there's the wonderful pool and crystal clear ocean just steps from the door!

Great Get Away

Beautiful clean condo ..... had everything we need. Fully stocked kitchen met all our needs, lots of bedding, bath and pool towels etc. View is stunning, beach is rocky but the kids loved exploring! Caretaker on property was a little tough to take sometimes, but didn't let it ruin our vacation. Very couple and family friendly

Absolutely beautiful

We really cannot rave about this property enough: the venue - long walks on the beach were amazing; the stylish and spacious interiors of the suite; the ocean view; the location - close to both the Cowichan Valley and Nanaimo for the ferry; simply wonderful. We absolutely loved the Cedar farmers market on Sunday too! We will 100% be back.

Beautiful spot to play

This was our second time to Inn of the Sea and the first in this unit. It is beautiful and has literally everything you need for a vacation and more including things you didn’t know you’ll need (except laundry detergent and in suite laundry, so pack loonies as it’s close on the property and very convenient to use). The view and the pool can’t be beat for an island getaway. Thanks for hosting us!

Everything you need

This property, and the unit specifically is amazing. We travel regularly as a family, and typically rent 2-3 bedroom condos to accommodate our family of 5. This was easily the best stocked kitchen we have ever had! The pool and the rest of the property are great, and the surrounding area has so many outdoor activities for the whole family. We would not hesitate to rent from Denise again, thanks for hosting us!

Quiet Family Getaway

Our second time visiting Inn of the Sea. After our last visit to the area I knew we would be back. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing time away in nature with incredible views this is your place! Denise’s unit suited our family of 4 perfectly. Everything we could possibly need to cook, relax and sleep comfortably was available in the unit. The king size bed in the main bedroom was a plus as were the modern appliances. The unit itself was clean and tastefully decorated. Would definitely recommend to others or stay again!

Beautiful view, nice condo but we had several issues, one being the property manager showed up trying to change our rules in our contract, secondly our fridge broke down and we lost a lot of money in food, with having no transportation to get more. Took hours for property manager to respond to us and to bring us at least some ice. Would never stay there again.

Amazing stay...but too short!

We are 4 friends who decided on the property because of its location and amenities. We were not disappointed. There was a slight delay with our ability to check in to the property, but it didn't matter as we got to meet Denise and enjoy a glass of wine with her! The property is very spacious and enjoys wonderful views. Denise has a very well equipped kitchen and I joked that I was prepared to steal her spice drawer! :-) While it was overcast and rainy for most of our trip there, our group loved hearing the rain on the skylight! When we informed Denise about a slight snag in our stay (the hot tub was unexpectedly unavailable during our stay), she really went above and beyond in her response. I have already recommended this space to others and I know that everyone in our party is interested in returning with their own partners and families. I'm so glad we found this lovely and clean space for a short weekend away during this pandemic!

A condo with a view!

Wonderful condo with break taking views. It was very clean and well lit. Perfect spot for our wedding weekend. The property manager was incredibly prompt when answering questions and so helpful, I would highly recommend this rental and will be back!

Amazing!

This apartment is simply amazing for location, views, comfort and it has everything you could possibly need for a holiday. We were a 3 generation group and it suited us all. The only thing I would suggest, and it is a small thing, is that there is space to store groceries. Because of covid there were few restaurants serving meals without long wait times so it was easier to eat in. We travelled from U.K. and had a memorable holiday both here and in parksville. We highly recommend this apartment.

Denise was highly kind and communicative. Beautiful view, great pool. Fully equiped kitchen, lots of towels. On site laundry with loonies. Nice tennis court. Awesome entertainment unit. Would recommend to other families. Giving it a four as Its a bit remote from town, lots of stairs, and was hot!! Measured 29 in Condo. Needs A/C but Wifi worked. Would be perfect for cooler weather!

Best vacation ever!

The property was beyond expectations! Absolutely beautiful, with full ocean front view (amazing sunrise)! The suite is super clean, beautifully decorated with an amazing kitchen with everything you would possibly need to cook anything at all! My kids loved the pool/hot tub right on the ocean. The ocean was so warm here (early July, I was told by a boat measurement around 72 degrees F) we swam everyday, loved jumping off the dock and swimming at the beach! Many beautiful running/hiking trails nearby (within 5km) that we also enjoyed daily. The host was so organized and accommodating! Thanks again! We can’t wait to come back! Heather

high-end family oriented fun

We stayed in Denise's 216/316 units for the week of July 18-25/20. The 2 units can be rented as one, to become a 2bdrm 2bath rental, which was perfect for us, as we were 2 couples. Whatever your need, Denise had already thought of it. From zip-locks to q-tips. EVERYTHING was there! We had a blast! Since we travelled during COVID, Denise was very accommodating, and offered to work with us, in case we needed to cancel.... and I must say that communicating with Denise was one of the best parts of renting this unit! Such a sense of humour. Fortunately, we did not have to cancel, but that pressure was off if we had needed to, so that we could focus on planning our trip. With respect to the unit itself, it is beautifully decorated, with an "ocean/beach' theme which made coming "home" very welcomed. There is zero cell service in the unit itself, which is so weird coming from a city, but apparently common on the island. But wifi was perfect. View from the upper balcony is to die for, with an unobstructed view of the Ocean. The balcony is shaded most of the day. There are 3 bbq stations on the property, with one of the nicest bbqs located right behind this unit, in the parking lot area. During busy times, there are 2 stations quite close to each other that one could keep an eye on, to see which one was free. An idea would be to have a flag or something which could be raised when the bbq was in use, as it was difficult to see from the unit itself. The balcony on the lower level (unit 216), is very teeny, and close to a Juliete-style, as it only fits 1 adult comfortably. There is also a back balcony off the kitchen, which came in handy for storage. Since it might be an issue for some, be advised that 37 stairs gets you to the living area. The entire resort uses water from a cistern, - never an issue while we were there. We were disappointed in the firepit area, since it was located beside the pool, and not down on the beach. We would've felt guilty having campfire smoke blow into the beachfront units at night. Because of the distancing measures in effect, we never did end up using the firepit area, or the pool/hot tub. (Although, they did have quite an excellent system in place for using the pool on a reserve basis.) One for the firepit area, might be idea, too? The park area out back was one of our favorite places to relax, as there was plenty of elbow room, with sun, shaded areas, & games. Would we go back? Hell ya. :)

Wonderful Canada Day! Best oceanview! VERY clean!

We decided on this property after seeing the amazing pictures online. Denise the owner made the booking very easy for us, and left us a hand written welcome note in the room. The place was very cleaned and well equipped with everything we needed (and so much more!). It was our first time in Cedar, and we will definitely be back! Proximity to the beach was a plus with our dog, and the pool was a great bonus on a hot summer day. Thank you Denise and see you soon!
