Explore Portland in exquisite style at this modern studio in historic Irvington—a central neighborhood within a 10-minute drive of most of the city's highlights, including downtown. With an indulgent steam shower, a new kitchenette, and French doors that open to the back deck, this studio provides the perfect accommodation for romantic retreats, corporate travel, and solo getaways.
We designed the king-size bed to be ultra-plush, with a padded headboard, a high-quality mattress, and crisp linens. One of our guests said it's like "sleeping on a cloud," which we love! After waking well-rested, prep a quick breakfast in the kitchenette, check your email over coffee at the dining table with mid-century mod chairs, then take advantage of our central location.
If you like exploring on foot, this is a great spot for you, within walking distance of cafes, pubs, restaurants, parks, and lots more. The Oregon Convention Center is 1.3 miles away.
This is a studio is a self-contained unit within a 1932 English Tudor, and shares (soundproofed!) walls with other units in the building. Your host, Suja (that's me), lives on-site; feel free to say hi! I love meeting guests, but will respect your privacy.

About the host
Hosted by Sujata Shyam - Luxe Stays

Luxe Stays got our start in 2015. We didn't have a name back then; it was just me, Suja, hosting guests at a 1930s English Tudor in Portland's historic Irvington neighborhood.
What started as a second income opportunity soon became a full-time passion, then a full-time career. I'm still hosting guests at my Irvington house, but Luxe Stays has "leveled up"—thanks in large part to our guests, who give great advice for how to keep getting better and better.
At Luxe Stays, 5% of our net proceeds go to non-profit organizations that help homeless and low-income youth gain access to the outdoors through rock climbing, mountain climbing, and backpacking.
And as conscientious neighbors, Luxe Stays follow Portland's short-term rental regulations, respect our communities, and work to keep our neighborhoods as weird and wonderful as ever. We welcome all visitors to our city with authentic hospitality, open minds, and respect—regardless of race, religion, national origin, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
