Perfect in every way. The cottage felt like our own private retreat and our Westie/Poo appreciated having free range of the yard too. We were a block from the beach and walkable distance to shops and restaurants. The fresh flowers and pecan cookies were a warm welcome and much enjoyed. Cannot say enough good things. The Whale Beachside Cottage is about as close to the beach as you can get in Jax Beach. It is a very short one block walk and you are on the sand! Chris presents a lovely place to stay, very clean, well maintained, supplied with pretty much everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom, and supplies for the beach to make your stay comfortable and easy. This was our second stay in the cottage and we will return.

Near Mayo and Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital

My wife was at Brooks for months and was time to stay close to Jax beach and nearby restaurants. Location is terrific and walked the beach daily and recharged my own battery. Chris was easy to connect with and helpful. I was very comfortable during my stay.

This little gem is in a perfect location for everyone who wants to enjoy the beach and have great restaurants in walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and how walkable the neighbhood was. Easy parking and check-in process. The cottage is perfect for a couple looking to unwind. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower is nice and spacious. The beach is only a few steps away - you can see the ocean from the front deck! We’d definitely stay here again.
