About this property
Rustic Cabin In Asheville Forest-15 Minutes From Downtown AVL, yet worlds away!
Nestled in the gorgeously forested and desirable Buffalo Mountain, this charming, romantic hideaway is less than 15 minutes from exciting downtown Asheville. Perfect for families or couples looking to enjoy all the entertainment Asheville has to offer, or those just looking for some peace and solitude.
There are two decks, one of which has a 6-person hot tub and a delightful 180-degree view of the surrounding forest. It has rustic wood chairs and a covered two person swing, perfect for relaxing with a good book or bird watching. The second, accessible from a main floor bedroom, overlooks the side yard. The well-equipped galley kitchen has all the modern large appliances: dishwasher, microwave, electric stove/oven and the basics in dishes, small appliances (including a Keurig), cookware and spices. Two bedrooms one the main level-one has a double size log bed, the other a king size log bed. Upstairs loft bedroom has queen size log bed, small flat screen TV and a beautiful, wooded view. Only 100% cotton bedding Two full baths, one on each with luxurious comfort. Imagine relaxing in your loft bubble bath while gazing out at the surrounding forest! Loft reading nook with comfy papasan chair and your own library with an eclectic reading selection. TV room has leather sofa and loveseat and 42” flat screen with cable and dvd player. Or if you prefer an evening of unplugged entertainment, a closetful of board games provides an amusing alternative. Wood burning stove in great room will keep you warm on those chilly mountain evenings. Charcoal grill and picnic table on front terrace. Pet friendly (please, no cats), you can bring your dog (up to two for a $100 dog fee).
Lively, downtown Asheville is less than15 minutes away and has an abundance of shops and Art Galleries and its restaurants are world famous. On the northeast edge of Asheville, you're minutes from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway with its many trail heads and spectacular views. Biltmore Village and Estate is a short 15 minute drive, and you’re less than 20 minutes from the gorgeous Craggy Gardens and charming Black Mountain. The Nature Center is 10 minutes away. Hiking, rafting and zip lining is in all directions.
This cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway or a relaxing, peaceful vacation away from the demands of city life.
