We had a great stay here. The house was very clean and the yard was fenced in which was really great for our dogs. Walking distance to downtown Edgartown was really convenient too. Will be booking again.
The house and its location were perfect. The house is cozy and comfortable and the deck and garden are lovely. The house is close to downtown Edgartown and the immediate neighborhood is great for dogwalking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the house and exploring Martha's Vineyard.
overall the location and house were fantastic, and perfect for us and our dogs! the house is clean and cool, thanks to the owner for installing the AC while we were there. we enjoyed walking and biking to town daily and south beach! there are general kitchen supplies, but no spices or seasonings in case you pick up food at the harbor and want to cook in a day or two. oh and no lobster crackers! i do wish the listing or agency would have warned about the work next door. the workers are in and outside, most of the day. we found it difficult to fully enjoy the deck and yard. the location and daily adventures made the trip amazing!

O.K….not great
The onslaught of “paperwork” before coming was excessive and it felt unfriendly. I’ve been coming to the Vineyard for 50 years and yet I had a difficult time finding your office to get the key. Jay was friendly and finally came to our car. House was well located and easy to find. When we arrived the inside door was covered with thousands of ants.. we found ant spray under the sink and after we vigorously sprayed, my sister-in-law slipped on the spray coming in the door and fell. Also, the washer didn’t work. I would not rent this property again.
Our rental was clean and cozy and the property management very responsive. Only downside was the active construction surrounding the property. We learned after we arrived that construction teams are allowed to work from 7am - 7pm M-Sat. The work and associated noise and proximity rendered the lovely backyard, deck and outdoor shower unusable. I understand that construction on the island is a part of life but knowing ahead of time about it via the rental description would have given us pause. While some renters may see a rental merely as a place to hang their hat after a long day out exploring the island, we wee looking forward to a balance of private enjoyment of the property with our island experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We apologize that we were not aware that construction would be happening in close proximity to your rental and that it impacted your full enjoyment of the property. We're glad to hear that you felt we were responsive to your needs in working out a solution — and that you found the property to be clean and cozy.Thank you again for sharing your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to the island again soon!
We have been staying on the Vineyard for years and are not terribly picky. We never shower inside, as we always rent a place with outside shower. We also have always eaten out at restaurants. We rented this listing for 2 weeks. There was no picture of one of the bedrooms (only had 2) and it had the smallest bathroom (only had 1) that we have ever seen. It had one closet in the entire place in the secondary bedroom that was 2 feet across. We had the live out of the car for 2 weeks with the lack of closet space. Place was really run down. Very neglected but we made the most of it. Felt like there should have been more pics and warning about lack of closet space. Would never rent again.

Thank you for sharing feedback regarding your stay. We are very sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. We work to ensure that properties are a good match for guests -- and online bookings through VRBO work best when guests can ask us specific questions about the property in advance of booking. There are photos of both bedrooms on the listing -- however the second bedroom has a daybed and perhaps it was unclear in the photos that this is a bedroom and not a sitting room. We'll take your feedback into consideration to improve future bookings at this property and hope that we can work with you to find other better-matched properties for your future visits to Martha's Vineyard. Thanks again.
The property was small and cute, as advertised. The owners and property management were very responsive and accomodating with all inquiries (hair dryer, late checkout, etc.). The backyard was great (although our dog was able to get out several times) and proximity to town excellent for biking and walking. We definitely recommend.
This property was great, and in a wonderful central location. There appeared to be a miscommunication with the cleaning team concerning bedding turnover, however PointB Realty and the property managers responded right away (and even brought us a bottle of wine to apologize)~ the owners came to personally amend the situation which we appreciated.. The house itself was extremely clean and we felt very comfortable, especially during COVID. The fenced in yard was great for our 4 year old daughter and lab. We would stay there again.
Cute cottage, walking distance to Edgartown village. We went during covid so didn’t go out much but had fun ordering food in, playing games and watching movies. Thank you!
Decided to take a long weekend on the Vineyard for an early spring getaway. Loved the location of this property and the fenced in yard was a huge bonus!
