Flexible arrival/departure dates. Beautifully appointed, open, airy 3 bedroom (2 queen, 1 with 2 twins), 2 /12 bath plus outdoor shower, pond, large private yard and deck. Cook's kitchen, comfortable, chic cottage-style furnishings. Walk to Edgartown, bike to beach, stroll to Katama General Store for morning coffee on the porch, quick drive to Morning Glory to pick up lunch, dinner provisions or yummy pies. Linens, beach chairs and towels provided. Washer/dryer, hi-speed, wireless internet, cable (separate tv room). The large backyard is very private with a large, new deck, lush gardens and a pond. Air-conditioned. REFUNDS: Refund of payments will be made only if premises are re-rented for the term of the lease.

This is a beautiful home within walking distance from the center! My family absolutely loved staying here! Very spacious. The linens were excellent and beds soooo comfortable. We had an excellent time! Hope to return one day!

Great family vacation home!

A great location, beautiful-comfortable-spacious home, and lovely private yard perfect for relaxing and exploring Edgartown and surrounding areas of MV. We walked to the market and town and biked down the path to popular South Beach. The owners are very easy to work with.

We had a great time!

We had a wonderful time in Fred & Steph’s house! The house looks even better than in the pictures, cozy and welcoming. The deck in the back and the backyard are perfect for a nice and relaxing afternoon and the location is ideal, very close to Edgartown. We can’t wait to go back!

MV house…..

We enjoyed the location of this property. The backyard is a private little oasis and all of the locations we enjoy were a quick bike ride/car ride away! We hope to come back!

Great House & Great Location!!

We spent a week at this great home, very clean, spacious and private with a great back yard. Easy walk into town and a short distance to the beach. House does not feel like a rental as the owners, who were so easy to work with, have taken great care of this property. Would highly recommend and would absolutely return in the future.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. I walked the 2/3 mile into Edgartown to work at Rosewater most days and it’s just the right distance for a good walk. The back deck and yard were even lovelier than in the photos and the layout of the house worked great for us: we used the upstairs bedroom for work calls and hung out in the main bedroom sitting area and in the living room. We would definitely go back!

Fantastic winter getaway!! 5 stars!!

We were looking for a cozy, quaint family getaway after the frenzied holidays, and this property delivered! Great property...cozy, warm, great fire place, with an airy/light aura/décor...the perfect blend of old, new. We sat by the fire every night, made puzzles, conversed with our teenage children, played games; it was wonderful. The house was perfect on all fronts. It was clean, had comfortable beds, cozy throws, and all the necessary amenities plus GREAT location. It was just perfect, and we would definitely rent this property again. The owners were great as well - and very quick to respond to any questions, via text (so very convenient). THANK YOU!!

Great Getaway

We all enjoyed a week long vacation at Stephanie & Fred's home on MV. The home was inviting, clean, decorated in a charming way and had lots of room for our family. The deck and gardens were beautiful. The location is terrific - just a mile walk into Edgartown for shopping, restaurants, and people watching. State beach was perfect for our little ones - calm, clear water and very family oriented. Stephanie was great to communicate with and shared so much great information with us about the island and the house. The guys loved the dart board! Access to Katama market and Morning Glory Farm was super easy. Overall, a wonderful home on a beautiful island! We would definitely return.

Lovely stay

This was our second year in a row staying in Stephanie’s house and we had a wonderful time! We had 5 adults and one toddler, and made great use of the wonderful back porch. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to town and take a short drive or bike ride to South Beach. Our dogs enjoyed the back yard too!

Wonderful stay!

Stephanie’s house was absolutely perfect for a getaway on the Vineyard! The house itself is beautiful, well kept and clean and very user friendly. The back deck was our favorite spot - mornings for coffee and evenings for wine, we could sit out there and listen to the birds everyday! We walked into Edgartown and took a little bit of a longer walk to South Beach, and we were right down the road from Morning Glory Farm, so the location could not have been better! We loved grilling fresh fish from Edgartown Seafood and Larsen’s Fish Market on the deck after a day of activities. We are already talking about a return visit and would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a private oasis that is close to everything!

Beautiful Edgartown Home!

We had a lovely stay at this terrific home in close proximity to Edgartown center. The house was beautiful, immaculately clean and very comfortable; stocked with everything you could possible want or need. We were here off season, so not everything was open just yet, but we enjoyed hiking and touring the island, this was a great place to return to after a busy day and relax! Stephanie is an outstanding host- incredibly responsive and very flexible.

Relaxing week with family

We greatly enjoyed our overall week and stay at this property. It's sufficiently "tucked away" in its neighborhood for privacy, yet is located with easy, short access (bike, etc) to Edgartown, Katama General Store and beaches. Well cared for, and owner is highly responsive. Recommended!

Comfortable and stylish home in great location

We loved staying at this house! The main room is airy and bright, with a fully stocked open kitchen and large dining room table. The backyard is especially beautiful and we enjoyed many meals on the large deck. The house is a short walk to Edgartown and a 5-minute drive to South Beach. Stephanie was very helpful and responsive throughout the process.

Fantastic, charming vacation rental in prime location!

Love the charming, cozy feel of this classic salt box in the heart of Edgartown. Clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable...it has everything needed to make the stay both convenient and enjoyable. My family and I love this place, making puzzles in front of the fireplace, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The owner is fantastic to communicate with. We've rented a lot of places across the Cape and Islands, Maine, and internationally. This owner is a gem! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful house in a great location

House was great - clean, bright and airy, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. We loved the beautiful and private back yard and the outdoor shower. The location of the house is terrific - a 10 minute walk into Edgartown (with its wonderful restaurants and shops) and less to Katama General Store. South Beach and State Beach are within biking distance. Stephanie is organized and responsive -- a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Family Vacation - MV June 2019

My family and I had the best vacation staying at Stephanie’s house! The house is beautiful and very comfy for my family (2 parents, 2 young kids, and 1 grandmother). My favorite aspect of Stephanie’s house is the location....about a five minute bike ride to the heart of Edgartown. Overall - two thumbs up!!

A little gem on a beautiful island.

This is a very warm and welcoming house, very well taken care if and with an outstanding host. Clear instructions for everything you need around the house. If you enjoy a quiet and nice retreat, the backyard offers a good place to relax. Very close to Edgartown, restaurants, Katama beach and so on. If you go there, please take care of the house as if it was your own. Totally recommend it!

Island getaway

We had a very nice stay on MV during April school vacation. It was easy to get around and see the whole island this time of year. We loved the location. We could walk to Edgartown or bike to South Beach. The house was very comfortable and perfect for a family to spread out into every corner. Everything worked out for a lovely vacation.

Great Location with plenty of privacy

This house was a great location for me and my family. It is a short 15 minute walk to downtown Edgartown, which is what we were looking for in a rental. The house is much more spacious than it appears in the pictures. The master bedroom has a big seating area room attached to it. The backyard was perfect for my 2 year old to run around in while we watched from the deck. The host of the house was very helpful via text. Clean house and furnishings. I would rent this house again.

Charming house with the true character of Martha’s Vineyard!

Our family throughly enjoyed staying in this open plan house with its seaside inspired decor. Its proximity to Edgartown allowed freedom to venture into town on foot. After having rented 2 other houses on MV in the past years this house was our favourite.

Very nice home. Bigger than it appears in pictures. Great location.

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the house. It easily accommodated my family. The location is ideal as you can get anywhere on the island within 20 minutes. The owners were fantastic and not only answered our questions but gave us sound advice on places to eat and visit. Home also is in a quiet location with a beautiful backyard. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

This is the perfect home in the perfect location with the perfect setting. It's close to Edgartown village (the best gem of the island towns, for sure!) but private for a quiet, secluded holiday.
