Family Reunion

Our family rented three units for the first reunion in 3 years, including six adults and four grandchildren 10 and under. Compared to other units our family members rented, Nancy and Ann's unit was superior and the most modern in all aspects. The one drawback of the complex in general, we felt the complex was not family friendly. Our grandkids were cautioned at the pool to keep the noise down on two occasions. We were told this was a rule adopted by the Board of Directors.. Had we known there was a rule against noise at the pool, we would have booked a different complex. Kids playing in water and will make noise having fun.

Glad we didn't stay in a hotel!

This great condo was more than we expected. The pictures don't do it it justice. It's gorgeous! Walking distance to the beaches and turtle watching. This condo is lovely and just a stones throw to Wailea and close to all the happenings in Kihei.

About the host

Host profile image
We're two gals who love traveling about as much as we love Maui.

We live in a 1921 historic apartment building on an urban canyon in San Diego when we're not living on Maui or on a cruise somewhere in the world. We fallen in love with our home on Maui and have been residents at Maui Kamaole for nearly four years.

A home in Tecate, Mexico mid-2023 will provide us with another opportunity. We plan on spending the first year in Tecate which allows us to open our Maui home for longer stays.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this condo in June 2018 after having owned another vacation rental at Shores of Maui since 2002.

We love south Maui and chose Maui Kamaole over the others. Its lush landscaping and two pools provide for a real upscale feeling.

What makes this property unique

We're Super Hosts on AirBnB and just recently took over self managing our condo. We'd love to have your review of MK L-104 posted on Vrbo.
