Great bright apartment in Florence, perfect for a family or a group!
This large bright apartment is on the 3rd floor of an old building, but fortunately there is an elevator! The apartment has been recently renovated, added new furniture and furnishings. There are big windows overlooking Florence's roofs, so there is a lot of natural light.
My mother is a great interior designer, I know everything That was done here Has Been designed by her. We did not change much of the structure of the house. We only divided the space inside in order to make the rooms comfortable blackberries. She DECIDED to use a lot of vintage furniture. So we went all over Italy looking for armchairs, tables, lamps, bedside lamps, wardrobes etc. Then there are armchairs, sofas, cupboards and tables from the 50's and the 60's that we bought and restored. I think her majors ability was keeping a really good balance between the look of the contemporary architecture and furniture, the antiques and the refined touch of the warm and historic building.
Ceilings are high and there are wooden floors Throughout the house. The kitchen is a dishwasher and a large fridge. One of the three bedrooms has an attached private bathroom and a large double bed. This is the quietest room in the house Because there are no roads under its double-glazed windows. During the night Seems to be away from the city! The other two bedrooms are spacious and have high ceilings Also too. One of this has a loft made During the last renovation in order to take full advantage of the large space. In this bedroom there is a double bed, and the sofa bed can be opened if the guests are blackberries than six. Obviously We provide clean sheets and towels for all the guests. I collect them every week in a laundry room. Hygiene is our first mission!
Unfortunately, I have to use a sentence Which is really overused by all the hoteliers but ... all of my guests, When They sign our guest book write That it is really like being home away from home. The place is very elegant and beautiful, but very welcoming and homey at the same time. I know that's the essence; it's very elegant but very informal. Everybody feels like at home, so they can pretend it's their house, going to the living room, preparing coffee, watching TV.
The house is located in a strategic position in the heart of Florence, few steps far from Piazza Santo Spirito, Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio and the Boboli Garden, in a limited traffic area and the Generally sheltered from the noise of the city.

Very open and beautiful apartment in a wonderful safe neighborhood. Lots of delicious restaurants and shopping nearby. Made for a lovely time in Florence for our girls trip.
Bernardo was fantastic! He was punctual with his responses when we had questions regarding food, transportation, and other general inquiries. The apartment is spacious and tasteful with a modern flare. Excellent location within walking distance to all sites yet out of the way from the central tourist traffic and noise.Highly recommend!

Thank you so much Sam! It has been a pleasure having you as my guests. You're always welcome here. All the best, Bernardo
The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s extremely stylish and very comfortable, well stocked, and in a perfect location. Thanks for sharing your home and the wonderful hospitality.
The host was very welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. The apartment is beautiful--high ceilings, parquet hardwood floor. Our family enjoyed the proper dining table where we could all sit, as well as the separate living room and kitchen (some places try to put all those together in one space). The location was great--near the Pitti Palace, five minutes walking to the Ponte Vecchio bridge, as well as grocery shopping and many amazing restaurants. It was about 10 minutes walking to the Piazza della Signoria, 15 minutes to the Duomo, and about 20 minutes to David, so everything we came for was a short distance away. I highly recommend this location.
The apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures. We were traveling with senior parents so appreciated the elevator access. Bernardo was very helpful and check in/check out went smoothly. When we got back from dinner the apartment felt cold. Even though it was late evening Bernardo responded to our message to help. It was still a little cold for our parents, but my husband and I were fine after that. I was recovering from a cold so I would have liked tissues available in the home.
Great location and nice apartment. Just beware that the unit does not have air-conditioning. We were there in August during a heat wave and had a hard time sleeping.
It was a nice home in a good neighborhood with most of the restaurants and activities within walking distance. Bernardo was great with his instructions and help and was always responsive where needed. For a group of 9 it was a perfect apartment with good amenities. The days we were there the temps were quite hot and humid, perhaps a couple of more fans would have been handy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thanks to Bernardo.
Overall we had a great time. The location was perfect, just next to a main square with plenty of good restaurants and very convenient to all major sites to see.
Bernardo's apartment is very charming and the location is excellent. He is a very helpful and accommodating host and was really good to deal with. I highly recommend Bernardo and his apartment!
We had a really nice, very hot, week in Florence but we made the best of it. Bernardo, our host, was excellent and met us upon our arrival. The apartment had everything we needed and we loved the location only minutes from the Ponte Vecchio bridge. The street is pretty lively and since we had our windows open it was noisy at night. Bernardo had fans everywhere and we really appreciated that since these old buildings don’t have AC.
The apartment was comfortable and bright. The beds and bathrooms are particularly nice. Bernardo, the landlord, is super friendly and responsive. The location cannot be beaten. Just off one of our favorite piazzas, a few minutes walk from the major tourist sites, but in the other edge of the tourist area, so real shops like hardware stores, bakeries and grocery stores are all close by.
This apartment is perfect for 6 or 7 people in Florence! The host is lovely and accommodating. The location could not be better!! Restaurants, coffee, gelato, a grocery store, ATMs- everything within a block or two. The food tour we signed up for, actually took us all around our own neighborhood! That's how great it is!
We stayed here on our family vacation (8 adults!) and it was a great location- less touristy but within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. Bernardo was a great host- easy communication, very helpful. Fast wifi was nice. Would stay here again!
We had a fantastic stay in Florence. The apartment was beautiful, well equiped and in a great location. Bernardo made everything very easy from check-in to recommendations for places to eat. Thank you for a great stay.
The apartment was a convenient and comfortable place for our family to stay while we explored Florence. It is right across from one of the best gelato shops in town! That being said, tour groups visit that shop until it closes at night, and lots of people hang out in the nearby square until the wee hours of the morning so if you’re not a night owl bring ear plugs. We also learned that mosquitoes are a thing in Florence, at least when we were there, so you may want bug spray. We loved being able to do our laundry and make some simple meals while we stayed here (no oven or toaster).
Elevator in building was great for arriving and leaving. Host was very responsive when we thought we had a problem with the cooktop ( user error). I would stay here again.
