About this property

BEAUTIFUL CHALET. SUPERB VIEWS OF GERARDMER, LAKE AND MOUNTAINS

You will keep a beautiful memory of your family vacation or friends in the Vosges cottage, surrounded by nature but not isolated, we made our second home.

If you like landscapes and vast horizons will pleasantly surprise you. The location of this cottage and its panoramic dominant view is exceptional.
The cottage is located on the top Xettes which is bright and sunny southern slope of the valley Gerardmer. The balcony of 27 m2 overlooking the lake, the Croisette and overlooks the northern slope and ski slopes.

The cabin is spacious, 130 m2 on 2 levels, comfortable and well equipped, with cozy furnishings and decor
- The upper level includes
an open input on the kitchen and a large living space (dining room and lounge) overlooking a large balcony. It also features a double bedroom and a bathroom with bath and toilet.dropoff Window
- The ground floor includes 3 bedrooms with a double bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a boiler room with washing machine. An exterior door will drop off your skis.

You will be 4 minutes drive from the city center (30 minutes walk) and 8 minutes from the ski slopes of the Mauselaine.
Outside the downhill runs or background, you can enjoy the swimming pool, skating, or exercise at the climbing wall near the Croisette.
For shopping: shopping for home lingerie factory outlets.
For entertainment: cinemas and casino.
And for foodies, 3 Michelin Address: Listed Lake Pavilion Petrus and Rupts Netherlands (1 star). For the rustic kitchen: the Lorraine hostel in Valtin. And for pizza lovers: the San Remo.

Verblijf was fantastisch ,het uitzicht overdonderd je Alles was zoals gezien op folder met als extraatje de bad kamer die vernieuwd is. Het onthaal was fantastisch en bij het minste probleempje werd alles opgelost. Zeker een aanrader.

On a passé un séjour très agréable dans ce chalet avec une vue époustouflante! La cuisine est très bien équipée (un peu petite), est les salles de bains un peu anciens, mais c’est aussi la charme de ce chalet.

Chalet de gerardmer

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce chalet très bien situé à Gerardmer: la vue sur le lac est superbe. Quelques bémols: bien que le chalet soit bien équipé, les salles de bain sont anciennes et pas pratiques ( très petite douche et robinetterie de la baignoire très difficile d'accès), la cuisine est également petite mais bien équipée, les 3 chambres du rdc sont très froides. La salle à manger est très agréable avec de grandes baies vitrées et un accès à la terrasse avec vue sur le lac. Un très bon séjour! Merci.

Merci à Céline d'avoir apprécié notre chalet, dont la vue sur le lac est effectivement superbe. Concernant le bémol de la robinetterie de la baignoire. Elle ne pose aucun problème pour les adultes ou grands enfants. c'est uniquement pour donner un bain à des enfants en bas âge que l'accès manque de praticité; il faut savoir se déchausser pour accéder à la robinetterie. Nous l'avons constaté personnellemnt pour le bain de nos petits enfants. Nous avons d'ailleurs programmé pour l'été prochain de remplacer cette baignoire par une douche à l'italienne . Concernant le bémol de la température des chambres du rdc; elle est habituellement inférieure à celle des pièces de l'étage qui sont exposées plein sud avec de grandes baies vitrées. Deux solutions. La première de baisser les thermostats des radiateurs du chauffage central de l'étage en maintenant à un niveau supérieur ceux des chambres du rez de chaussée; c'est notre technique et ça marche très bien. La deuxième c'est d'utiliser les radiateurs électriques à bain d'huile et controle thermostatique dont dispose chacune des chambres du rdc. Et les bémols deviennent des dièses.

Le chalet est très agréable et est très bien aménagé (équipements de cuisine, équipement enfants, bébé, décoration intérieure, etc) . Nous étions véritablement "chez l'habitant".

Bel accueil, beau chalet très bien situé avec une belle vue sur le lac et les montagnes entourant Gerardmer. L'endroit est bien décoré, très agréable à vivre et fonctionnel. Nous étions 5 et nous avons passé une superbe semaine malgré une météo changeante. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et toujours à l'écoute. Nous pensons même y revenir un jour :)

Trés beau et grand chalet avec une terrasse plein sud et une vue sur le lac fort sympathiques. On resterait des heures à regarder le paysage ! Intérieur très confortable, familial et personnalisé...nous, on aime. Nous recommandons cette location pour les marcheurs et les amis de la nature, ceux qui aiment le chant des oiseaux et le calme de la montagne, sachant qu'on est très proche du centre-ville aussi (belle grimpette pour la remontée néanmoins).
