6 Acre Chalet is a two-bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage tucked along the shore of Little Saint Germain Lake in Wisconsin’s Northwoods. The property is completely private and wooded without a neighbor in site! A true return to the quiet summer cabin many travelers only dream of!

The open concept lower level features cathedral ceilings in the living room with a loft for additional sleeping accommodations. Enjoy picture-perfect views of Little Saint from the living room, kitchen, and loft, while the bedroom windows look out on the deep greens of towering pines and abundant array of wildlife. 6 Acre Chalet has a rustic appeal with knotty pine interiors and vintage décor accents; you’ll feel right at home the minute you arrive.

The kitchen has been fully appointed with everything you’ll need to entertain and dine with your friends and family. Host an evening dinner on the deck with the soothing sounds of the lake in the background. A charcoal grill and a row boat are provided to help you make the most out of lake life while you vacation at 6 Acre Chalet!

Little Saint Germain is one of the most popular fishing and recreational lakes in the Northwoods with over 950 acres to explore. Reel in a Bass, Pike, or Walleye, or simply paddle through the pine-encompassed bays of the lake to witness the soaring of eagles and glimpses of deer as sneak the lakefront. Fall Family Getaway

We had an awesome stay at the chalet. It was a perfect spot for reconnecting with family. The view of the lake was amazing from the spacious deck and the and the accommodations were comfortable. The property manager was was extremely helpful and prompt when we reported that the internet had went out. We had a relaxing stay and would highly recommend.

Great Getaway

Love the quiet and serenity. Driving to the cabin, we were amazed by the number of deer, including fawns. My favorite thing at the cabin was to sit on the dock and watch the wood ducks and eagles. Centrally located with respect to Eagle River, Boulder Junction and Minocqua.

Had some issues with the original booking but the manager stepped up without hesitation, but not a fan of the boat rental method. They need to swap the boat delivery and pick up times

4 adults & 2 dogs booked the rental at the last minute & were quite pleased with the property & accommodations. My only negative comment is the dock....too long & way to skinny

The house is fine and met our needs for the week. However, it could definitely use some TCL to make staying there more enjoyable.

Great start for a new property

Other than a few hiccups (ice cold shower, no AC, and screens with holes so there is little ability to get fresh air), this is a great property. Wild life that walks right up to the deck and you can watch eagles grab their meal right out of the lake while you’re fishing. And, speaking of fish, the fishing is AMAZING! The beds are comfortable and the house is clean. Overall, I would stay here again...I would just bring a lot of fans.

Beautiful

The property was gorgeous, we had both our dogs and the driveway alone was a beautiful walk. The cabin was very nice and the view out the windows? Spectacular. I will have to try coming after the dragonflies hatch next time or in the winter! LOL Lesson learned! Great location and I love St Germain, have stayed various places and this was one of my favorites.

Great Lake and view- cabin is okay

The cottage on the 6 arce Property is in a great location and great privacy but the cottage itself needs some work. With no AC- the warm weather made it difficult to stay comfortable in there and with the paper outlet covers and no railing Down to the water- there are some hazards. The outdoor patio furniture was full of mouse droppings and leaves so bring your own chairs. Driveway is very very narrow so plan accordingly if you have a boat or trailer. Again the view and lake is great!

Honeymoon/getaway

I booked this property literally the day before my wedding! They replied super quickly to my few questions and I booked! The process was easy and we ended up renting their bass boat for a day as well! The whole experience was wonderful and we couldn't have picked a better place to spend our honeymoon! The property was beautiful and felt like home!

Winter Getaway

We had a good time and enjoyed the scenery! The cabin has an authentic north woods feel to it. We enjoyed playing pool in the basement and got out on the snowmobile. The cabin could use a little TLC. The bathroom door doesn’t shut all the way, the flooring in the kitchen is stained and there were a lot of cobwebs on the exterior of the cabin. My biggest complaint was the ice buildup on the walkway into the cabin. My dad spent a good hour chipping away at it before my wife and I arrived. The driveway was also covered in snow and wouldn’t have been accessible without snow tires and 4 wheel drive. I guess for what we paid to rent the place I expected a little more. All in all we had a good time, but I hope Hiller’s fixes some of these issues for the next renters.

Nice isolated cabin on a lake

Exactly as pictured. Like others, we saw eagles fishing on the lake. It was great taking the kayaks out.

Great!

Relaxing and clean. Beautiful place. Secluded from other people. We saw eagles fishing on the lake, and could hear loons in the mornings. Just what vacation is all about.
