Great location. Exactly described in listing. Late check in was very easy to follow.

Thanks for staying with East West Hospitality. We’re glad Iron Horse Lodge North matched the listing and that late check-in was easy and straightforward. The location makes it simple to enjoy the village, and we’d be happy to have you back.
After-hours check-in was no problem. Plenty of parking available in the garage. Condo was very clean & nicely appointed. Room keys worked for the fitness center & hot tubs just across the way at Iron Horse South. Checked out by 10a, but the room key continued to grant us access to the garage, so we could ski before returning to car & departing.

Yes, good point Matt... guests are welcome to come, also, before check-in time & we can hold luggage & grant a key so that you can use the amenities & wander the Village or ski. Thanks for staying with us.
Its hard to rate the property because the major reason we stayed there was to take advantage of the amenities of the resort. Due to Covid, everything was essentially closed. Nonetheless, we had a great time taking hikes in Lake Tahoe, the condo was comfortable and very clean, and the staff (the few we interacted with) were great.

Hi Cecilia - thanks for staying with us & yes, we are required to comply with California ordinances which included closing all public amenities during times when Covid was at its peak. Try us again when everything has settled down so that you can experience the full enjoyment of Northstar & Lake Tahoe.
Loved the property!
Only comments would be that the Wifi was really spotty. Connection/modem needs to be upgraded. Also, water pressure in the bathroom sinks was awful and the hot water was barely warm.

Don't be fooled by the website pictures
This property on the surface looks good, but when you arrive you realize there is a lot to be desired. The slate floor in kitchen is black and brown and feels dirty. It is the same slate used outside the elevator and in the lobby. The lovely leather couch in the pictures does not have pillows and seems plastic and slants down so my husband was uncomfortable the whole time. The sheets are scratchy and the quilt cheap and the faucets in the bathroom have a build up of minerals and something else that the water runs over that is not clearn. The unit has high windows and is on the corner but the whole thing felt like corporate, transactional, money making condo.

Lovely property, great management, communication, central location, ski lockers and parking at the Northstar Village. Would definitely stay there again.

Hi Mike- you may have had a double Whammy of fall being quieter in Tahoe + Covid closures, but we're glad you had a lovely getaway all the same. Think Tahoe in the thick of summer or winter if you want to see the Village in its full glory. :)
Thanks for your review & for staying with East West Hospitality, Susy! Please think of us when your travels bring you back to Tahoe (or Colorado or Hawaii!).

Great location, quiet and convenient. It was not easy to figure out where to park at first or how to check in. I wish I was given more directions.
