LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION...this condo is THE closest condo in Ski Trails to the Village at Northstar without actually being in the Village so it is just a short walk to the shops & restaurants & skating rink. You also have access to the expansive NPOA Rec Center. Now you can treat yourself to the convenience of a ski in & ski out condo located on Village Run in Ski Trails. The location of this Ski Trails condo is ideal as it is located just steps from the gondola & Village Express lift as well as the Village.

**** We recently remodeled our kitchen with an open and expansive kitchen island for the whole family to gather around. We also renovated and expanded the bathroom to include a walk-in shower (no more tub/shower combo) and spacious 48" vanity with plenty of bathroom storage during your stay. Our renovation also includes new lighting, furniture, flooring, rugs, fabric covered bed, bedroom ceiling fan, and new closet system with large flat screen TV in the bedroom too! ****

From the living room and deck you can see the gondola and Village, including the skating rink, through a filtered view of tall pine trees. With your stay, you will have access to the Rec Center which has a full workout gym, game room / arcade, saunas, three pools open in the summer including an outdoor heated lap pool open year-round, playground, and three large hot tub spas. There is nothing better than relaxing in the hot tubs on a cool summer or winter snowy evening.

The condo includes a full kitchen with white quartz countertops, all new appliances and an eat-in bar between the open kitchen and living area. On cool nights, relax with a good book or watch a movie near the stacked stone fireplace in the condo. Enjoy watching TV on the large flat screen TV in the living are and we have a TV in the bedroom as well. We also provide a variety of free DVD movies for our guests. In addition to the queen size bed in the bedroom, there is a large queen size pullout couch (very comfortable and NEW!, not your typical "bar in the back" pullout) in the living room with a chaise ottoman to stretch out on... and it has storage for blankets, sheets & pillows. We also provide complimentary Wifi internet available for guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Beth and Andy's condo.The weather was a little (ok, a lot) more than we bargained for and being so close to the village ensured we were able to enjoy the weather and amenities of Northstar without worrying about having to drive. The condo is extremely well appointed and we were able to enjoy movies, the Olympics, and board games and a full kitchen in total coziness. Beth was incredibly accommodating as we navigated closed roads, digging our car out of the snow, etc etc. Having such a gracious host helped us enjoy our trip to the fullest. Thank you Beth and Andy!

Ski Trails condos do not have A/C but new Village condos do. Very few places in Tahoe have A/C because we don't get super hot weather and it gets so cool at night. However, we do have a ceiling fan in the bedroom and a fan for the living room. And yes, the NPOA Recreation Center does charge $5 per day per guest to use the facilities, I voted against this policy, but at least it's still fairly cheap for the amenities there with a full gym, 3 large hot tub spas, 3 pools, arcade, splash pad, and more :)

Andy & Beth are local residents of Tahoe who reside in the small community of Brockway, located near the casinos on the North Shore of Tahoe. Andy is a Fire Captain at a local Tahoe fire department, and Beth has been managing condos at Northstar since 2004 for their Lake Tahoe Mountain Vacations rental business. Andy also taught snowboarding at Northstar for over 15 years. We both feel very fortunate to live in such a wonderful area like Tahoe, and we enjoy exploring and discovering new things to do here. We are more than happy to answer questions for our Lake Tahoe Mountain Vacations guests.

Why they chose this property

We live near Northstar in Tahoe, and have always wanted to enjoy the use of the Recreation Center facilities. After considering buying a vacation home for guest lodging, we decided Northstar was the best ski area in Tahoe for families and decided it was the best choice for us and our guests to use.

Skiing right from the condo or being able to walk right down to the Village from our ski in/ski out condo is a real treat for you & your family. Once you stay in Ski Trails, you will not want to stay anywhere else at Northstar. And access to the Recreation Center with pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, gym, saunas, arcade, with everything you need for the whole family, is an added bonus!
