Mammoth vacation

We loved the location! The unit has wonderful views from all the windows as well. We spent our time enjoying the lakes and surrounding areas. Our first time back in the area after many years.

great creek side location

Felt comfy like we were just using a friend's condo. You go out from the unit and you are on the creek side walking trials. Also walking distance to restaurants on Old Mammoth Rd. Will go back no prob.

Wonderful!

This was a lovely spot for my husband, kids and I to meet up with my sister, her husband, and their kids. The cousins enjoyed the loft space, and the adults enjoyed visiting with the beautiful view of Mammoth Mountain from the living space below. Access to bike trails and riding to The Stove for their delicious breakfast menu were great perks! We’d hope to return!

Clean, quiet, nice property! Tight for 10 people

Clean, quiet, nice property! Great table for card games. Nice master bedroom. A bit small for 10 people, and a bit far from the mountain if you are staying here during ski season. The upstairs with the bunk beds is loft style, not a closed room. It is about a 10-15 minute shuttle from the mountains.

Quiet Luxury

This is our second time staying at this location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They condo provided wonderful comfort with teenagers able to all sleep in the loft, it provides three bathrooms so great access for everyone. The location is great, access to everything very easy! If you want to stay away from the busy village, this is a great place. When you get a lot of snow the open area is a great place for the young ones to build snow forts or snowmen. Generally good

It was a pleasant stay. We checked in and out easily and the property was beautiful. I loved the view from the balcony. A few call outs: there was no hand soap, no extra set of sheets for the pull out, only a few towels and no shovel or salt for us to use when we were snowed in. We also had a hard time using the fire place because the wood was stored outside and covered in snow so it was too wet to use. We also had a late check in due to weather but we were compensated for that. The location was perfect and close to a ton of things to do. Overall good experience, our friends and family had a blast and we’d stay again.

Solid lodging option

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Just noticed a few things that could be improved. We stayed in the winter, and it took about 12 hours for the place to warm up once we turned on the heat. They also have some communal supplies (salt, pepper, tin foil, etc) which is great, but were almost completely out of several of them. It's also hard to find at night as the unit number is not visible from the parking lot and there is little to no lighting on the catwalks. Lastly, and this is pretty minor, but the property manager makes you download an app (not the VRBO app) to get the check-in info, while we prefer to use email.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was perfect for a family of 5 and all of us adults but you can definitely be way comfortable with 8! Location was perfect, condo was modern and cozy with a cabin feel. Master Bedroom with King/Master Bathroom, Guest Room Queen Bed with access steps away to hallway full bathroom and loft with Bunk Bed w/full on bottom as well as another small queen size bed in the same area with half bathroom perfect for 3 to 4 kids! You are within minutes of Canyon and Eagle lifts along with being in walking distance to the only grocery store VONS and my favorite breakfast spot The Stove absolute grub! Property management was great and extremely easy to get in contact within reasonable hours of course. All around for a mountain getaway to Mammoth was perfect for me and my family! We Loved It!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful Mammoth does not disappoint! Great location, very comfortable beds, cute decor, easy check in and good stock of kids games. Disappointing elements: No snow shovel (needed one to dig car out!), dishwasher was broken, and a very moldy shower curtain upon arrival (at this price point was SUPER disappointing and gross!). Property management pretty hard to reach- responded in 24 hours or more with one liner information that wasn’t helpful. (Reached out prior to arrival with questions- answered 3 days later. Inquired about someone replacing or cleaning shower curtain and they replied after 2 inquiries and 30 hours later that the store was out of stock). Not the best! Just made me worry if something was really wrong- they would not be reachable/helpful. No in unit washer/dryer just FYI.

Perfect spot for a group

Overall good place, but

We thought that the condo was quiet and comfortable; however there were some issues that stood out. The microwave needs to be replaced as the handle is broken and the turntable inside didn’t turn so food was not evenly cooked. We also found that there was no soap/body wash for showering and no tissue to be found in the place.
