Stay was okay; upon arrival the second bedroom downstairs sheets were wet, there were no extra trash bags, and no extra towels. Trash outside on the deck upon arrival.
This is a great place to stay! Everything you need to unwind from a day of fishing, skiing, hiking, biking, or whatever activity you do.
I will be booking the same spot for next year.

We loved the space it had and where it was located. The only problem was we had 3 vehicles and my son got a warning. I gave told other family members about the place.

We are so sorry you were inconvenienced during your stay! We always strive to make every guest stay as perfect as possible, inspecting every property twice between every departure/arrival. Our staff are human of course, and so even if we hit 95%, that still leaves some issues from time to time for guests to contend with.

Beds are one of those things that is VERY personal. Some people like beds more firm, some more soft. One guest will LOVE the beds, and the next might hate them. We do not get bed complaints often about any one property, if we did we would encourage the owner to replace the bed. Nonetheless, from time to time we have a guest/bed match that doesn't work. If that happens for you, PLEASE CALL US! We stock a variety of toppers to help you achieve restful sleep during your vacation. In the most extreme cases, we do keep extra mattresses in storage and may be able to swap out the mattress temporarily for your stay and then return the original after you depart. Hopefully we can help you find a better fit.

We were moved to another property because of construction. The rental agency for this property made this go real smoothe and the property we ended up in was great.

Thanks so much for staying with Mammoth Five Star Lodging! We hope you will think of us again for your next visit!
The house was immaculately clean, and just a short (but steep) walk to the lake. The kitchen was especially appreciated: Well equipped with everything a chef could want. Our only disappointment was highway noise from Interstate 80, which is immediately behind the house. This probably wouldn't matter so much in winter. But in summer open windows constant ambient noise.
Spacious, clean, great location, good parking and close to town for amenities. some TLC needed shower controls stiff and difficult to operate, tumble drier did not dry clothes even after maintenance had attended. However despite these niggles we had a great holiday with plenty room for all the family.

The unit was nice, nothing felt cheap, the grounds and amenities were well kept. The only thing that didn't work well was the internet, possibly for to local ISP, but we never stayed inside long enough for it to matter.

The condo was incredibly clean, beautiful, and roomy. Plenty of room to comfortably fit our party. It is very close to important amenities such as food and vons. There are two parking passes you can use for two cars, but it was not clear where other cars would park as it all seemed to be the same parking lot (no private parking), so we were not sure what to do with the remaining car(s). The check-out process is a bit strict, I would be mindful of this ahead of your leave, but it is clearly outlined on the tablet that is provided inside. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay, and would book this property again.

Unfortunately, this guest never contacted our office to give us an opportunity to correct any of their parking concerns. If you have trouble during your stay, I encourage you to contact your VR manager while you are in the property, as they may well be prepared to handle your concerns. We have 18 full time staff members in our housekeeping, maintenance and guest services departments who we can call upon to resolve problems. If this happens, or if you are concerned about problems with a unit you are considering, please call our offices at Mammoth Five Star Lodging. We have staff available by phone or email, 7 days/week, 9am-6pm (Pacific) to ensure you book exactly the property you want and to address issues that may come up during your stay. We are happy to help if you will just give us the chance.
As a professional property manager we post clear rules, expectations for departure, and potential fees or fines for ignoring those rules during your stay or after departure. We almost never actually fine anyone, because virtually all guests follow the rules. We don't ask for anything too hard: no linen stripping, no cleaning- just a few basics like trash removal, heat settings, run the dish washer, etc.). All guests must sign a contract when booking and these rules and fines must specifically be initialed for approval before completing the booking procedure. These same rules and fines are posted inside the unit to ensure there are no surprises. We believe posting the rules up front so they are clearly understood to be the best way to meet our dual obligation to our renters, as well as to our homeowners, who expect us to protect their home and investment.
Our check out rules have good reasons for them. For example, failure to remove trash after your stay can invite bears to break in, causing thousands of dollars in property damage. Also, a vacant unit left unheated can have pipes burst; parking and noise violations can bring police or HOA fines on the property owner, etc. Our rules have similar logic, I don't have enough space here to explain them all, but call if you're concerned.
Thanks so much for staying with Mammoth Five Star Lodging!
