The condo had a beautiful view, very clean, warm, plenty of bedding, well-stocked kitchen, easy access. The host was helpful. We had a wonderful time. Would definitely return.
It was overall good. There was plenty of room for all of us in our group. The Rock Band drums was a bonus to have, which the kids had fun with. Dave was easy to get in touch with.
We had a wonderful stay at this condo. We arrived late the first evening so the place did not really cool off even when we opened windows but the remainder of the nights were great. Easy to find. Easy to access. A bit remote but that made for a quiet stay. Would definitely return.
The view from this property is epic! I loved sipping my morning coffee as the mist moved over the valley below. Equally soul filling was watching one beautiful sunset after the next. David was quick to respond to all communication.
This condo had absolutely spectacular views. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was plenty of space to stretch out. I was a bit too hasty in reading through the post as it was a last-minute booking. I assumed no pets, meant the unit was free of pet dander however it was not. Our son has asthma and had several attacks while there so we had to put him and his fiancé up at a nearby hotel. The unit was lacking a blow dryer which I've never encountered in my 25 years of renting. This is an easy 15-dollar fix. I know a lot of owners are trying to maximize profits but 3 queen beds in one room is a bit much and it makes it very difficult to move around in the room. I can see putting multiple beds in a bunk room but not every room. The loft was dicey to use with the ladder and I think the bedding on the lower level is in need of updating. We could have also used some extra blankets and towels. Overall, the stay was great, conveniently located and comfortable.
This condo accommodates 2 families very comfortably w/plenty of privacy for both. The 4th floor bedroom, in my opinion, is not safe for "most" to sleep in. The stairs up to the bedroom are extremely steep and the railing across the top is not enclosed safely, in my opinion.
I could not give the property a 5 because of the cleanliness upon arrival. The kitchen table was sticky, the floor sandy. The stairs to the second level clearly had not been vacuumed, lint & hair balls. There were half eaten cheetos under the bed upstairs. Living room had dust/dirt in most corners. Luckily there was a vacuum & we brought cleaning supplies. The unfortunate part was that we paid for a service that was done extremely poorly.
I will end on a positive! The view & sunset are magnificent! The kitchen was supplied adequately w/pots/pans, etc. Plenty of room for 2 families (4 adults, 4 toddlers) to enjoy. We enjoyed the ice castles and did use the pool at the community center, which was great!
The home had incredible views that were different every time we sat outside. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. The owner quickly responded to all communications. Unfortunately, for us, there was a crazy uncharacteristic heat wave. I believe the property temperature would be comfortable with temperatures below 85. Overall it was a good spot for us.
We had a great stay! Short drive to recreational center with outdoor pools, indoor pools and pond to fish. Condo unit was exactly as pictured and neighbors were friendly. Would definitely return.
View from condo : Amazing. Just beautiful. Kitchen is well equipped with what you need for cooking and dining.
Lack of cleanliness: multiple hair balls found all over; dog hair found. When my husband and son used the provided towels to take a shower they came out covered in dog hair. Condo had a significant odor of wet dog. Blankets smell like dog. When removing the bedding per check out instructions, the mattress pad covers on the beds were dirty with dog hair and hair balls. I wish the owner had specified that they have a dog on the premises when they use as my son is highly allergic and a severe asthmatic. Because of all the dog hair and odor we had to utilize benadryl, cortisone cream and inhalers to keep him comfortable.
Some heat zones are locked, which was fine but I would recommend unlocking the basement bathroom thermostat. Freezing!!
Only 4 towels provided.
Wont stay again due to lack of cleanliness and dog hair and dog odor.
Excellent time in a beautiful and spacious condo. Views from the porch cannot be beat. Our family had an awesome time staying here and would do so again
This is a great property to rent if you are looking for a nice getaway in the mountains l, especially if you like beautiful sunsets, hiking, and lake swimming and fishing. The house was a nice fit for our 2 families. There was plenty of space, comfortable beds, and friendly neighbors. The upstairs loft was a bit too hot for us and children to comfortably sleep in but the rest of the home was pleasantly cool throughout the day and night. We were extremely satisfied and hope to return again.
Only gave 4 stars because there is no AC and the bed arrangements don't offer enough privacy options for a diverse group. Also the attic loft "bedroom" is unusable in the summer. It's just too hot. Still we had a great stay there.
The views were breathtaking, watching a morning snow storm come in was a highlight. Convenient location, lots of activities nearby, can't wait to come back.

It was a beautiful view
My grandchildren loved the condo, but made for a long week, having the facilities 3 minutes up the road. That was the only down fall, the pools, pond, etc. being that far away.

Thank you for your review. We’re glad that you enjoyed your stay. The facilities are less than 1/2 mile away from our condo and hopefully the amazing views from the top of the mountain helped to justify the short 3 minute ride. I know some short cuts that I can highlight in the visitor’s booklet for your next stay with us.
This Campton Condo was perfect for our family. We were traveling with 4 children ages 7-10 so it was great that there was 6 beds for the kids to spread out. The 3 beds in the upper loft were just too hot to sleep comfortably, even with fans and even though the outside temps dropped into the 60s at night. But the owners have several small individual fans so each bed could have it's own fan which worked just fine. And of course the bedroom on the bottom floor was very comfortable. The kitchen has all the amenities needed to cook meals which is great when traveling with a family looking to save on food costs for long trips.
It was great having a washer/dryer to wash clothes after spending the day hiking and swimming.
We don;t watch much TV, but it was also nice to have that available and we enjoyed a movie on night on the DVD player. The remote for the DVD is missing which is important because the unit doesn't have FWD or RWD buttons on it. The universal remote worked just fine once you program it. I'd recommend the owner leave instructions on how to program the remote for future guests in case it gets reset by accident.
The community pool was nice and we enjoyed that twice during our stay. All in all a really great place.
Overall, our stay was very good. The condo was large enough for our group of 8. The condo had a good layout as to not feel crowded and the views were spectacular. The lack of air conditioning was only a problem in the loft. It was way too hot to use, but we made due.
