Located in Waterville Estates with a recreation center which includes use of indoor/outdoor pools, basketball court, workout facility and tavern. Waterville Estates is 10 minutes from Waterville Valley and 10 minutes from Owl's Nest Golf Course providing both summer and winter activities. Renting in Waterville Estates also allows access to cross country ski trails. The home has a total of 3 bedrooms with master bedroom having a king bed, and 2 additional bedrooms ( queen bed) and (full bed) that sleep a total of 4. The family room in the lower level of the home has a TV and a queen size futon for additional sleeping. A spacious deck which is included in the pictures is perfect for socializing along with an outdoor patio and fire pit.

Lots to do!

Cute house in a great location. The clubhouse and pool is awesome and there was so much to do. We played a lot of pickle ball. Close to Waterville Valley as well so would be a great place to stay and ski.

This cabin in the woods was perfect for a winter getaway! Clean, plenty of room.

We absolutely loved staying here! The community center had more than enough for the kids (pool, play area, arcade) and the house was more than roomy enough for two couples and 3 toddlers under 4. It’s close to ski mountain resorts and we were lucky enough to go to the ice castles. We will look forward to booking again next year!

Clean, comfortable, and cozy house

This house was a great "base" for exploring the Presidential and Sandwich mountain ranges. It was nice to come back to this cozy house after a day of hiking in the cold to cook a meal in the kitchen and sit by the fire. The owners are super-responsive and friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

Great getaway house!

Such a perfect house, nestled in the woods! This house exceeded our expectations! Cozy, clean, plenty of room, and it had everything we needed! It was easy to clean and transfer station was not too far away. Especially enjoyed introducing the kids to old school games like Guesstures! We loved staying here and exploring the ice castles and local area. We would absolutely stay here again, would like to see the area in warm weather too!

Relaxing, peaceful oasis

The accommodations are exactly as stated, with all the necessary amenities... plenty of room for our group of friends... and my LARGE (and happy!) dog. The location is convenient, with easy access to all the local attractions. The whole rental and communication process was a breeze. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Thank you for feedback however we feel $150 cleaning fee is more than reasonable as floors and bathrooms etc need to be done. But do you have to clean up after yourself, absolutely. Every place I rent I have to as well. The fees are VRBO not from the owners. Thank you for your feedback I also suggest you send feedback to VRBO as well because as an owner we are charged fees too

Great Property!

The townhouse was very nice, plenty of room, good location for skiing, very private and has everything you need. The community center is a plus for rainy days. The only downside is there is a very, very steep hill to get to the place. They do a great job sanding but use caution and have a four wheel drive vehicle if possible. While we were there, it was very cold and there was freezing rain for a day which made the hill very scary going up as well as down, it can be a sheet of ice.

The only problem with our stay is we should have stayed longer!!!! I'm sure I drove the owners crazy with my million questions but they patiently answered them all. The property was clean and comfortable we felt at home from the start. Everything we needed was in the kitchen and throughout. It was close to hiking and kayaking which was why we went there. It was an unexpected treat to soak in the hot tub and lay by the pool at the club house after our long hike. The home is detached and very private. Next time we will stay longer.

Needs TLC

The property was in need of upkeep. Although the space was adequate and livable the overall appearance left something to be desired. Inside and out there needs to be painting and repairs. The owner requires all linens to be washed and dried before leaving, this is a difficult task to get done before checkout with proper laundry machines. In this case it is nearly impossible the washer is very small and the dryer takes a long time to dry. I do not believe the owner uses a cleaning service as they require you to sweep and vacuum, I do not think this is right during COVID.

Thank you for your feedback. We continue to make updates and I strongly disagree with your comment in something to be desired. Please see all previous reviews. It's a beautiful and clean home. You do have the option to pay for cleaning but in order for prices to be kept down we do ask that you clean up after yourself. We do clean it again after folks leave so stating that we do not have it cleaned after a check out is not true. But yes we are strict with folks taking care of our home.

Waterville Estates

This was a great condo just a short drive to the rec center. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Little hiccup about the code for the key, as one email listed a 3 digit code in the body of a message while another email gave a 4 digit code. Also, in reading the description, it sounded like 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 on the main floor, and a futon in the basement. It was actually 1 bedroom upstairs and 2 bedrooms and a futon in the basement. No bathroom on the main floor. This was a bit of an issue as one of our guests was trying to avoid stairs (bad knees). In the end it worked out just fine, just not as I had expected. Great stay and very easy communication with the owners. On a side note, I did bring all of our own bedding, as I realized the comforters were not being cleaned after each use, as the renters are the ones cleaning and doing the laundry. The washing machine is way too small to wash these as well.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. The correct code was sent days in advance as it is changed after each renter. We will check the description online to ensure it is clear as we’ve not received this feedback in 16 years. The bedspreads are for decorative purposes and washed at the laundromat. Each room has a lightweight white comforter that is washed after every check outand they do fit in the washer. Renters are asked to pick up after themselves but cleaning company comes in after each checkout. We do ask if you use linens to wash them or you can pay for linen service. Either way, everything is clean. This statement is not accurate. Appreciate the feedback

Super cute and quiet place to relax

We had a great time at this cute updated home. Everything seemed to be brand new and updated, Had everything we needed in the kitchen to fully cook meals. was at the end of a cul-de-sac and was very quiet, never heard the neighbors. We enjoyed the communitee center with 2 indoor pools and out door poos and hot tubs. and adult only area was great, i was able to use the hot tub by myself and enjoy the breeze and views of the mountains. even though it was a drive it was very short. Mavryk, my dog and I went for a hike every morning in the trails that they had located nearby. the only thing is the stairs going down stairs were wood and newly sealed. i slipped with my socks on half way and slid down the stairs. don't wear socks going down the wooden stairs. the rugged stairs going upstairs were fine but a little steep if you have an older dog. or a dog with a broader front. we also used the gas fireplace on the deck and cooked s'mores at night and enjoyed the peace and stars outside. it was nice to have one family downstairs and one family upstairs. it worked out well for all of us. would stay again if we have something to do in the area again.

Will not rent this house again.

What we liked. Nice area, the house was clean What we didn't like. House's heating system is based on two heating monitors (one in the basement, one on ground level). No heating in the rooms, bathrooms etc. So in order to keep your bedroom warm, you must keep the door wide-open all the time or you risk freezing at night. Two bedrooms are in the walk-out basement without a window. There is absolutely no place to throw away your garbage. All your garbage (!) must travel back with you. If you don't have Verizon, be aware that your cell phone is dead in that area and there is no land phone. On top of the above, owners (or managing company) are not attentive enough to the details. We got a wrong PIN code for entrance and there is WiFi password despite the statement of "no password" in the welcome guide. And when we realized we had a wrong PIN, the owners were unavailable to contact and it took us contacting HomeAway customer service to be able to reach them after an hour. (BTW, we just got lucky that one of us had Verizon and we were able to use it, otherwise...) And last, but not the least. The guide we received was requiring guests to leave the house in the "clean renting condition" or you will lose your security deposit. If you "leave this" or "do that", you will be fined $$$. Would be more honest simply add a cleaning fee instead. Guests certainly should not leave a mess, but they are not a cleaning company to perfect clean it for the next renters. Overall, we found our way to enjoy the Thanksgiving vacation, but next time we rent, we will be very careful with reading rental's description and certainly will not rent this house again.

Heating sources - the heating sources are more than enough to accommodate this house. We acyually receive many compliments about how warm and cozy it is. Bedrooms - each bedroom has a window. It is illegal to not have a window in the bedrooms and rent out the house. You just need to open the curtains. WiFi - this is correct. We did give the renters the wrong password because we had to change it recently due to security reasons. However, we got right back to them and did tell them the password was on the back of the modem. They were the only ones to date, not be able to locate. Trash - trash can be brought to the . There are no trash bins outside of homes on the mountain due to animals Cleaning - yes the house has to be left clean. It is not a hotel and many people that rent their homes on these sites ask that people leave it as they came into it. We want to keep our home as lovely as possible and continue receiving the positive comments. If folks do not want to pick up after themselves it probably is not the best place for them to rent and a hotel may be there best option. Rental code - this renter received the new code via email 2 days prior to arrival. They did not read emails or the rental agreement. They called us multiple times and we were very responsive. I even shared with them that we were getting concerned because they kept asking questions and I did ask if they read the check in and check out procedures. We would not want this family to rent from us again and we would caution other owners as well.

A nice house with easy access to the White Mountains

Nice getaway in the white mountains. The cabin was clean, modern, had nice furniture and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was a good base for hiking and biking in the Area and the community center offered nice pools and hot tubs. The owners were very responsive and flexible.

The home was nice but it should be made mentioned that you need a 4 wheel vehicle in the Winter.

The home needs a better system of getting rid of trash. We thought we could use the dumpster down at the village and we were given a code to get into it but the code didn't work. The smoke detector is missing on the upper level. and we couldn't oprn the door in the basement level in case of an emergency.

This is our 2nd time staying here. It’s clean and has everything you need! The trash situation can be a bit cumbersome since you are responsible for removing trash and the there is only one dumpster nearby. It was full but other than that I would highly recommend it!

Nice getaway

The rental property is comfortable like your home and in a good location to the recreational center. Access to downtown is about 20 to grocery store, DD Marshall etc. Fireworks were great at rev center for the 4th. The pond has paddle boats kayak access tennis courts we brought our rackets and also hiked. The gym in the rec center is amazing and 4 pools 2 jacuzzis are great esp when it rains- and this is included in your rental using their passes. We enjoyed our stay went to Clark’s and it’s about 18 miles not bad. The luxury of hotel if your NOT looking to clean cook everything like that this isn’t for you. But besides that we enjoyed it all! Great memories!

Great location!

The house was excellent and as described. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores for everyone after a day of exploring. The house had games to play and dvds for the kids to watch. We will definitely stay again!
