Fantastic pool and garden.

We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed our stay. Great service from Francois and Laurent. Wonderful location in the village, close to restaurants and amenities and walkable to the beach. The house has fantastic pool, garden and outside factilities. The owners have done an excellent job of renovating the house and retaining the family history of the property. Our only minor issue with the property was the steep and narrow staircase which was awkward for everyone but especially so for our tall son. I could imagine this could be a significant issue for some families. Overall would reccomend the property.

A great family home!!

A great family home, where you immediately feel at home with a lovely private pool and cozy relaxation areas. The house stays nice and cool in warm weather.In the very complete kitchen there was a delicious package with regional treats ready for us.Someone came along who unexpectedly needed a wheelchair, the bedroom on the ground floor was ideal for that. Our 2 dogs could also walk around in the very well-screened garden. The owner and caretaker are easily accessible and respond quickly. There was a small defect and that was resolved as quickly as possible. In short; highly recommended!!

Wunderbares Haus mit kl. Einschränkungen

schönes abgeschlossenes Grundstück mit sehr großem Pool, viele Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten im Schatten. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, eine Outdoorküche mit zusätzlichem Kühl- u. Gefrierschrank, Gläsern, Besteck. Extra Raum im Garten mit Waschmaschine, Spüle und Spülmaschine. Viel Platz, um Fahrräder usw. abzustellen. Wir konnten bei Fragen/ Problemen jederzeit den Eigentümer per Mail ( Frz. oder Engl.) erreichen, der sofort geantwortet hat. Die 2 Zimmer im OG sind über eine steile und enge Treppe zu erreichen, sehr schwierig für Personen mit Gehproblemen und beimTragen von Babies/ Kleinkindern. Das Bad im OG liegt hinter dem 2. Zimmer, d. h. die Bewohner des einen Zimmers müssen durch das 2. Zimmer hindurch, um dorthin zu gelangen. Die Schränke bieten wenig Stauraum für Kleidung ( allgemein unbedingt Kleiderbügel mitbringen!). Das EG -Zi. ist groß mit eig. Bad/WC. Da es bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr heiss war, tat der Deckenventilator gute Dienste. 2 Ventilatoren im Küchen-/Wohnbereich standen zur Verfügung, die wg. der Hitze notwendig waren, da der Bereich nur über die Veranda zu lüften war. Die Veranda ist komplett zu öffnen über 2 Seiten. Aber wegen der Mücken empfiehlt es sich, diese abends geschlossen zu halten, sodass man dankbar für die Ventilatoren ist.

Schönes Anwesen mit zu viel Technik und Interior

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat zum Teil die neusten Küchengeräte, Waschmaschine Tischtennisplattte etc.. Leider gibt es viel zu viele Sachen: Die Schubladen sind überfüllt und es steht viel zu viel Dekoration überall herum. Man hat den Eindruck bei älteren Leiten zu Besuch zu sein, die alle möglichen Teller, Schüsseln etc. Angehäuft haben und die nur kurz woanders wohnen. Dadurch fühlt man sich als Gast und nicht wirklich wie in einem Ferienhaus. Das ist sehr schade, da das Außengelände mit dem Pool sehr schön und stilvoll angelegt sind. Auch die vielen technischen Geräte sind zu kompliziert oder funktionieren leider nicht, z.B. der Deckenventilator. Toll ist der Wintergarten vor dem Haus zum Essen!

It was a lovely villa which is very well equipped, beautifully presented inside and out and very comfortable for our family of 5. We had an enjoyable, delightful and relaxing time. The heated pool was a good size and lovely to swim in and relax around. The villa was fully equipped with modern facilities, TVs in every room, WiFi, Sonos sound system, modern kitchen and everything you would need. The villa is also very well situated with the local super market a short walk away, along with a handful of shops and eateries and a play ground for the children. The local beach is superb and monitored by lifeguards and great for surfing and bodyboarding and within a short distance from the villa. There are lots places to visit and some nice bike paths to enjoy the surrounding villages and beaches. Francois was a perfect host, very amenable and always contactable to answer any questions we had over the duration of our stay. We would highly recommend L’Eglade and would like to thank Francois for his hospitality.

Semaine de pur bonheur dans une tres jolie maison emplie de petits détails pour notre confort et notre détente avec aussi un jardin extra! Parfaitement située, plus besoin de prendre sa voiture pour faire les courses comme pour aller à la magnifique plage de la Giraudiere où les vagues font la joie de petits et grands. Merci au propriétaire amoureux de son île et de sa maison qui, même à distance, est d une grande gentillesse et disponibilité pour nous conseiller. Grande propreté des lieux parfaitement bien entretenus Bravo et merci en espérant bien revenir !

Unser Urlaub im Haus L´Eglade

Wir verbrachten eine herrliche Zeit im schönen Haus L´Eglade. Das Wohnzimmer und die Küche sind noch aus altem Bestand und sehr gemütlich. Die Ausstattung der Küche lässt keine Wüsche offen. Der Rest des Hauses ist komplett neue hergerichtet und äußerst stilvoll eingerichtet. Der Außenbereich ist sehr groß. Er verfügt über zwei Sommerküchen und viele Bereiche zum Verweilen. Die Alarmanlage muss man sich bei Übergabe genau erklären lassen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Great house!

We spend 11 nights in L'Eglade and really enjoyed it! The house is fully equipped and has everything you need. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are great, everything was very clean. The outside area is very big and fits a lot of people. It was a pity, that the grass in the back yard wasn't as green as expected, since it would have been great for our little daughter to play on it. But everything else was perfect. We do recommend the house!

Sur l'Île d'Oléron, un séjour très agréable

L'Eglade est une très belle propriété de vacances avec des prestations de grande qualité, jusque dans les moindres détails. La maison a été rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires qui nous ont renseignés sur les bonnes tables de l'Île d'Oléron, les visites intéressantes et les commerces de proximité (vraiment tout proches). La maison est suffisamment grande pour accueillir confortablement 8 personnes, de toute génération, sans manquer d'espace.

La maison est agréable. Au calme et malgré tout à proximité des commerces. Nous avons séjourné à 6 adultes. A conseiller vivement pour profiter de l' infrastructure extérieure: BBQ, cuisines extérieures, chaises longues.... Les chambres sont spacieuses, les salles de bains totalement rénovées avec goût . L' équipement est parfait! Rien ne manquait. Propriétaire chaleureux et attentionné ... et de très bon conseil .
