Best cabin ever!
Our family has stayed her twice in the past two years. We love the quiet surroundings the hot tub and the pool! Everything is so private and so very enjoyable. Thank you for making our stay the best ever, once again!!
We enjoyed out stay greatly. It is a very quiet and clean location and close to town. The cabin was well stocked with your basics and beyond. We would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway..
My husband, dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. We had everything we needed and the hiking trail down to the river was a fun challenge. It was also nice to be in the beauty of the mountains while being close to places to eat and shop.

We enjoyed having Ruth and her husband and fur baby as guests. They left our place in great condition. Would love to host again.
We loved everything about the cabin and the property. It was a perfect family vacation. The kids loved the pool and the river trails. The parents loved coffee on the balcony and evenings in the hot tub. Great location too!
This property is as advertised. Very quiet community with easy access to surrounding areas. Spacious home with plenty of amenities.

Thrilled with our stay
We loved the carriage house and property. Was a great place to change out for a few days yet central to a few great day trips. House was equipped with everything you need and check out was smooth and easy. We will definitely be back.
My son and I stayed here for 3 nights for our annual summer cabin/fishing trip. Was soooo clean especially for a pet friendly place and so close to downtown Blue Ridge, Tubing, and hiking but felt so secluded on the property. All the amenities such as the hot tub and pool made it even better. Would definitely recommend! Great little vacation away from home!
The property offered everything that was promised. The cabin was very clean with great amenities. It was only 7-10 minutes from downtown (actually 7-10 minutes, a lot of listings exaggerate their close proximity to downtown). We would 100% stay here again.

Thanks, Nick. It was great to have hosted your group.
Super great place to get away. The cabin was awesome, had everything we needed. The whole property is wonderful. The pool is awesome. We had it to ourselves most days. Truly a great place, we absolutely loved it, and the owners are great to work with. We will definitely be back.

We are so happy that your stay was wonderful. Look forward to seeing you again.
Had a great time on a short 2 night stay!
Great location near the river & near everything you want to do but still out of town.
Kids enjoyed the pool & hot tub!
Greg was great! No problems!
This was our first time visiting Blue Ridge, GA but it won’t be our last.
We had a great, relaxing time in Blue Ridge. The cabin was perfect for my family. Very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed fishing, exploring the property, playing basketball, the fire pit making s’mores swimming in the pool, and playing billiards every night. We definitely want to come back.
The property was gorgeous. The views were beautiful including waking to a gorgeous sunrise. The kitchen was great, the furniture was comfy, and the walking/hiking was beautiful. Wifi was 10/10, zoom had no issues.

We are so glad you loved the place, and mentioned the amazing sunrises, which occur because the cabin sits on top of the ridge, facing east.

Beautiful home
The house waa great with up to date appliances. Very cozy, cottage feel. Missing some mountain views from the home itself though. The pool was nice and always empty when we visited.

We are so glad you loved the cabin, updated appliances, cottage feel and our awesome pool. We are also glad you point out to other guests that this cabin does not have the multi layered mountain views that other cabins have (we find that it is impossible to have such views and also have direct access to the river). The views are nice but not commensurate with those of cabins that require miles of steep roads for access. We feel we have the best of all worlds with close convenience to Blue Ridge, a quarter mile of river frontage, great cabins, nice views and an amazing pool.
We wanted to get away from Atlanta for the weekend and this property was perfect. We really enjoyed the pool that is shared between all of the properties as the pools in Atlanta hadn’t opened yet due to covid. We liked going into town to eat dinner and enjoyed Grumpy Old Men Brewery one night, too.

We are so glad you loved our place! Hope to see you soon.
We had an amazing time during our stay. The cabin was great, and it was fun to step right out and throw some discs in the disc golf baskets. Our dog also enjoyed the trip. We were close to everything, but it was also very peaceful. We had everything we needed for a quick getaway. We would love to come back when we can stay longer.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. We wish we had booked it for three nights instead of just two. The cabin was just right for our family of four adults and one baby. We had plenty of room to spread out but also gather together to eat. This was our first time using VRBO but we will definitely try it again.

About the host
Hosted by Greg Spencer
Oregonian Greg Spencer initially discovered the Blue Ridge area on a backpacking trip to the Cohutta Wilderness in the 1980’s. A short time later, enamored of the area, and the incredible recreational opportunities, Greg began to explore the potential for purchasing raw mountain land, and developing uniquely designed and hand-crafted cabins, taking full advantage of stunning views and a quarter mile of Toccoa River frontage.
Why they chose this property
Amazed by the beauty of the Toccoa River and the inspiring views of the surrounding mountains, Greg wasted no time in securing what is now known as the Toccoa House Properties.
During the 1990’s Greg built a small cabin, The Riverside Cabin, on the Toccoa River, and envisioned a larger house that he later built on the ridge above: The Toccoa House, completed in 2000. Next came The Carriage House in 2002, and the in-ground, seasonally heated swimming pool in 2007. The Grey Heron House, was completed in late 2007, the The Toccoa Riverfront Cabin was completed in 2016.
What makes this property unique
It is rare to have awesome views AND direct access to over 1000 feet of Toccoa River shoreline. Greg has also combined his 40+ years of experience as a builder and home inspector to create a custom home, with excruciating attention to detail. Every aspect is well above and beyond the typical north Georgia cabin rental.
