As a guest you will have access to Sapphire Valley Resort and Amenities which is only 5 minutes away and features skiing, tubing, Zip-line, fitness center, one indoor pool, two outdoor heated pools plus a wading pool (clean towels provided by the center), two hot tubs, two saunas (one dry, one wet), game room, quarter-mile walking/running track, playground, putt-putt, tennis center, "Corn Hole" bean bag toss game, horseshoes, basketball, soccer, volleyball, bocce ball, massage-facial by licensed therapists, tanning bed, gem mining, classes and activities including Water Aerobics, workouts, massage workshops, socials, television viewing rooms, a gift shop, a library, board games, puzzles, book exchange, area information, special events and planned trips to nearby attractions. Summer Getaway

This property is excellent in every respect. The owner was always available for questions and when we had an appliance failure he immediately corrected the situation. We highly recommend this unit to anyone considering this area for their trip and we will definitely stay here when we return.

Great location. Nice roomy condo

This is a nice roomy condo which is split into Units A and B. Each unit has a large master BR with attached bath. Unit A has the larger kitchen and unit B has a smaller kitchenette. The unit is clean and has a lot of room. It is a very short and easy walk to the Fairfield Lake, which is absolutely spectacular. We enjoyed our walks around the lake, which is about 3.5 miles. Sapphire is an amazing place and we love going there every year. The owner was open to our suggestions for improvements for future guests.

EVERYTHING I WAS EXPECTING

The place was exactly as described and was exactly what I was looking for / needed. The villa was beautiful and very clean. everything we needed for a successful stay was in the villa. The location was spectacular. We had a access to a gorgeous like, Bal d Rock and a 3.5 mile hiking trail around the lake. Close to nearby waterfalls. I would definitely return.

We have been enjoying the beautiful Sapphire area for generations. We purchased our own place at The Hilltop (the most breathtaking, gorgeous, energizing place in the world to us!) because of Private access to the spectacular 77-acre Fairfield Lake created in 1896 for paddle boating, swimming, fishing, canoeing, sailing, hiking, historic Camp Merrie-Woode and a spectacular mountain view just a few minutes walk from our front door. Bring your groceries to our spacious kitchen and don't drive anywhere! Cool summer climate to enjoy getting back to nature! The Breeze of Fresh Mountain Air Blowing Through the Villa when we choose not to use our Central Heating and Air Conditioning. Access to Private Sapphire Resort Amenities galore to stay fit in whichever ways you choose. Bird-watching—especially hummingbirds. Hiker-Nature-Bird-enthusiasts' paradise with trails and waterfalls galore: Whiteside Mtn., Panthertown Valley, Whitewater Falls, Glen Falls, etc.! Central Western NC location to many unique towns-attractions: 20- minute drive to breathtaking Whitewater Falls—tallest falls east of the Mississippi; 10-minute drive to Cashiers and 25-minute drive to Highlands—historical quaint towns, antiques, boutique shopping, amazing restaurants-eateries and much more; under 45-minutes to Blue Ridge Pkwy-Sliding Rock-Pisgah Forest-Looking Glass Falls, Brevard, Sylva; just over an hour to Asheville and The Biltmore House, Flat Rock, Hendersonville, Maggie Valley and Cherokee to name a few.

What makes this property unique

Ample parking spaces just a few steps from front door. Two living quarters (each with its own Central Heating and Air Conditioning unit, jacuzzi tub and gas fireplace) at either end of one-level house adjoined by central foyer allows for utmost relaxation and privacy. We love the large relaxing private back deck, the inviting rocking chair front porch and watching the hummingbirds from inside; the spacious Kitchen open to living room with gas fireplace, additional Kitchenette on B side, large bedrooms that easily accommodate King size beds (B side easily accommodates a Day bed with trundle as well), sleeper sofa in living room. Both large bathrooms have double sinks, jacuzzi tubs and private water closets. TV in both bedrooms and Internet Access throughout the Villa. Spacious Living with high ceilings and a large 50' Flat Screen TV. Large Dining Room Table that seats 6-8 people. Washer and Dryer. Carpet and wood floors throughout. The Breeze of Fresh Mountain Air Blowing Through the Villa when we choose not to use our Central Heating and Air Conditioning. Private access to the spectacular 77-acre Fairfield Lake created in 1896 for paddle boating, swimming, fishing, canoeing, sailing, hiking and a spectacular mountain view just a few minutes walk from front door. If choose not to walk on lake trail just step out front door and walk around flat, paved Overlook Road or the beautiful roads throughout Hilltop. Hikers paradise with trails and waterfalls galore. 20- minute drive to breathtaking Whitewater Falls, tallest falls east of the Mississippi. 10-minute drive to Cashiers, 25-minute drive to Highlands.
