Beautiful cottage in the rocks

Located on one acre 8 miles south of town, very quiet with gorgeous views of the Mts and access to trails. Cozy cottage 1 bedroom, 1 bath with soaker tub/shower for relaxing at the end of the day. Also includes a fold out couch for extra guests. Chefs kitchen for cooking or 10 minute drive into town for a variety of dinning experiences. Washer and dryer included. There is a television but no cable tv. A chromecast and Roku are provided. Feel free to say hello to the animals. We have a dog, Yellar and 2 cats, Rusty and Lightning, also a pot bellied pig named Dudley. They are all very friendly

Beautiful house in a wonderful location close to Arches and Canyonlands. Quiet, comfortable, well equipped and the hosts were extremely helpful and approachable. Would love to stay again if we were in this area. We were delighted to have found this property.

Great little place. Has all you need to have a fun time in Moab.Host was very friendly and available. The only minor things i would call out are the lack of A/C in the bedroom itself and no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Both were not enough to change the review. The place is really nice and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

The space was so lovely, clean and perfect for our stay. I really appreciated that the space smelled normal, there were not any awful air fresheners, just the light smell of wood. The bed was comfy and the bathtub was really nice! Our host was a super sweet and awesome guy, he was easy to get a hold of and offered great kindness beyond just being the owner of the space. The location was gorgeous, a bit outside of actual Moab which meant quiet, coziness and safety from the tourist vibe. We were able to work in the space on our computers perfectly and then drive into Moab to explore.

Beautiful views and an amazing cottage

Booked this cottage for a recent trip to Moab and we were thrilled with it. Great communication with the renters and a beautifully appointed cottage with stunning views. A real gem of a spot. Located a few minutes south of town with no light pollution so the star views at night are amazing We loved t and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again for next years trip.

Visiting family in Moab

The accommodations were perfect, clean and well supplied. A lot of character to make the cabin feel homey. Well off the busy highway but only 10 minutes from Moab. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and readily available (not that we needed much!). Their pets were super friendly and always there to greet us. The views were superb and nice walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Jeff and Tammy.

Overall, a very nice, quiet place to stay outside the busyness of town. Furnishings were great and comfortable. Challenge at check-in. Luckily someone was right there when the codes weren't working. A little light on supplies (like toilet paper - 1/2 roll for 5 days). Lots of ants, but they are clearly trying to address. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Moab Cottage

We loved our stay at Jeff and Tammy's cottage located just outside of Moab. Cottage was well stocked with all the necessities and was very spacious for the two of us. Beautiful views of the mountains and we loved seeing the full moon at night. Jeff and Tammy were so friendly and made us feel right at home. Quick drive to Arches and Moab for all of our activities while there. Highly recommend!!

Perfect little home for a stay in Moab

We absolutely loved staying at this property. It looks exactly as the pictures show in the listing. It’s impeccably clean and both conveniently located as well as quiet and isolated at the same time. It’s a magical little spot with a beautiful sky (day and night) and the friendliest yellow lab in the world. The owners are kind, helpful, and responsive. All the appliances are high quality - it’s superb! The water tastes good, heats up quickly, and has great pressure. Pro tip learned from owner: on hot summer days, turn the AC In the family room down and leave the ceiling and floor fans on so the bedroom is nice and cool when you come home. It’s awesome!

The unit is beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. Everything about the apartment is first class. The owner, family, and friendly animals live on the property, and are kind and accommodating. Make sure you go out late at night and look up at the stars. Amazing!

Starry nights in Moab

Very clean with all the comforts of home. The washer and dryer were a welcome sight after 3 weeks of travel. The night sky at this location was amazing. We did have some trouble finding our way to the rental after dark, but only because street signs were hard for us to see. Thank goodness for GPS! My husband enjoyed making friends with the dogs and cats that live with the property owners next door.

We had an amazing stay! We arrived later than expected with rental car issues at Denver Airport but the stargazing didn’t disappoint. Such a cute and cozy house with all the amenities you would need. We also loved waking up with some coffee and the dog welcome committee. Would definitely choose this for a lengthier stay!

An Oasis in the Desert

This was the perfect home base for exploring Arches and Canyonlands. The interior amenities and exterior views are just as nice as the photos, and it's probably the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed in! Privacy-wise it has more of a B&B vibe than a vacation home rental -- Jeff and his family do a lot of working and playing around the property, much of which centers around the garage attached to this home. Some thin curtains over the kitchen window and a couple chairs out back to watch the sunset might make it a little cozier for future renters. Everyone was very friendly, though (especially the puppies!), and gave us great recommendations on making the most of our time in Moab. We would definitely return for another adventure!

I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable home, appointed with everything you could need, surrounded by beautiful views and trails. The owners are friendly and informative about the area. The dogs, cats and horses on site were an added treat.

Jeff and Tammy love the Moab area. When we are not with our 8 beautiful grand children we are in the outdoors. Canyoneering is our favorite activity in the red rock country. We also love our horses (Hank & Red) 2 dogs (Porter & Rockwell) and 2 cats(Rusty & Scarlett) . If you would like some advice on the area please feel free to ask. We love to share this beautiful place we are blessed to call home.

Why they chose this property

We are located south of Moab a short distance. It is very peaceful here with breathtaking views all around. The night sky is amazing as we do not have the light pollution as in town. Come and see the Milky Way with ease.
