This modest home is located in the Bay Vista Park area. It is a 3 bedroom ( 2 available), 1 bath home that is less than 5 minutes to Midtown, Wynwood, Design District, Hospitals, and I-95 . The area is extremely quiet at night as there are only two other homes on the street. The host lives approximately 15 minutes away and will be available if the need arises. You will not be disappointed with your stay at “Ernie B’s”.

The house was located perfectly with close proximity to the expressway and all local events. The host was very attentive providing me internet access upon request and the entire facility was in a quiet safe area and included all amenities for a like home feel. Perfect vacation

Reasonably priced accommodations, centrally located, comfortable beds.You get what you pay for. Daryl’s place isn’t the fanciest, most recently remodeled home in an upper class neighborhood. But it is comfortable, every day clean and in a quiet neighborhood that we never had problems in. It’s like that friend’s home…you know the one, that you can call and say “we’re passing through town and wonder if we can crash at your place?” And they put you up with a comfortable bed, clean linens and simple space. Daryl was a very responsive host and worked to make sure our stay was comfortable, even going above and beyond. We would stay here again if we return to Miami. The house is centrally located to transportation and downtown. We came to town for a concert at Kaseya Center and it was a short drive to the concert and we also found amazing restaurants within a 10 minute drive.

Umm be ready for neighborhood

There were 3 of us women. We decided to stay as we were only going to be sleeping there. Yet, to put it concisely, our Uber driver who brought us there had fear for us. One night we heard about 8-10 gunshots (at least that's what we thought) and always multiple ambulances. If there were 1-3 men, probably no big deal. Yet, we braved it out, I guess you could say. Once inside felt ok within the barred windows yet the sheets didn't smell clean, one door would not shut to one bedroom, pieces in the woodwork missing, no shower soap... we ain't pre-madonnas... and honestly, I kinda liked staying somewhere that was a complete contrast with our convention which was in wealthy part of Miami.

Miami inner city experience

This rental would be just fine were it not located so close to an I-95 exit ramp & the Miami airport...the road & overhead airplane noise were incredibly loud at times, especially at night. The neighborhood was initially disconcerting for me, but owner has taken steps to provide for renters safety; home is also located in an area of the city going thru urban renewal, so its not far from lots of good restaurants. Would have been greatly improved x1000 for me to have a working washer & dryer, as anyone visiting Miami is going to need one after spending time at the beach; owner says hes working on providing that...if its a priority for you, beware; there is a laundromat nearby but it is a huge inconvenience as a traveler. Master bedroom's bed was super comfortable. Home was clean & Wifi worked well; owner is still working on improvements. Kitchen isnt well stocked for preparing meals, so plan to eat out. Excellent Cuban restaurant (Enriquetas) & a Cuban bakery (La Especiale) located pretty close by. Home is approximately a 15 min drive from the beach (unless traffic is bad its more like 30-40), but South Beach parking is terrible so save yourself the trouble & opt for an Uber. If you dont have alot of expectations going into this rental, your stay here should be fine.

Great house bad location

I enjoyed the house had comfy beds great water but neighbor hood was sketchy and it's right on a really loud road on top of that gun fire kept us up most of the night along with tons of loud cars and motorcycles there no sound proofing in this house.

Good location but could do with improvements

Neighbourhood looks rough but we had no issues with the location. It's well placed for Little Havana, as well as Miami beach. Having our own rental car made it easy. The property is clean but could do with the windows being upgraded. Noise is a bit of an issue but switching the fan on helps drown it out. We did see a couple of cockroaches appear on our last night, so didn't have a chance to mention to the host. We reckon it is not an infestation or a major problem with the property - they come out from the drainage system. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Miami, using this as a base to come back to and sleep. You do get what you pay for, and this place is cheap but worked out fine for us.

Check in was easy. However upon entering the front door, there were two large cockroaches, had it not been 1230AM, we wouldn’t have stayed. Place was run down, for example, it looked ok for appearance but one bedroom door was so bad it took my husband his entire body weight to close it and it creeped the entire close….the bed sheets were stained with something red and yellow and made noises every time we moved. The other bed was hard and uncomfortable. The next morning we found a hotel and left and we were supposed to stay another night. Very disappointed

Good bang for the bucks

Cozy house for small family can’t beat the price around Miami. The owner Daryl very friendly and helpful. We’d stayed for a week without any problem very convenient to go around Miami close to everything. One thing I suggest if the owner can increase the water pressure for the shower would be great other than that I would recommended to anyone. Thank you Daryl

Infestation of giant cock roaches. No tissue, no cleaning supplies , no cable only appliance that was working was the iron, not a good place to entertain unfortunately

Bang for your buck

The property is exactly what you see in the pictures. The property manager was responsive. The neighbor is pretty desolate so a rental car is ideal. I would stay here again.
