A charming lower-ground-floor studio in a period building on Ennismore Gardens, one of Knightsbridge's prettiest garden squares, moments from Hyde Park. With high ceilings, plantation shutters, a separate kitchen and a bathroom, it's ideal for couples or up to three adults wanting a smart, central London base. Please read the sleeping arrangements below before booking.
LIVING AREA
The bright sitting room has tall shuttered windows, a decorative fireplace, two armchairs, a coffee table and a TV. It also serves as a sleeping area, with two single beds. During the day the beds can be stacked one on top of the other, freeing up floor space for relaxing.
MEZZANINE SLEEPING PLATFORM
The main bed is a double mattress (135cm) on a raised sleeping platform above the living area, reached by a steep, ladder-style wooden staircase with no handrail. The platform has low headroom, so it's a space for sleeping rather than standing. Because of the steep ladder and the open mezzanine, we don't recommend the flat for young children or for guests who find steep stairs difficult.
KITCHEN & BATHROOM
The separate galley kitchen has an oven, a ceramic hob, a microwave, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a kettle and a toaster, along with crockery, glassware and cookware. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, a glass screen, grab rails, a basin and a WC. A combined washer-dryer is kept in a cupboard in the bathroom.

ON YOUR DOORSTEP
When you are ready to venture out, you'll find yourself torn between Kensington and the museums on one side and the delights of Knightsbridge on the other. With excellent links into other parts of London from South Kensington and Knightsbridge tube stations, this charming flat is a fantastic base for any London stay. A convenience store and an ATM are only a minute's walk from the home. Take a stroll through Hyde Park and stop for a picnic under one of its magnificent oak trees, or rent a rowing boat on the Serpentine. With so many museums within arm's reach, you can while away the hours with the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum or wander through the latest in art and design at the Victoria and Albert Museum. When you're ready to eat, Kensington has everything from French, Italian and Argentinian to a traditional English pub, all within easy reach of Ennismore Gardens.
This is one of London's most exclusive neighbourhoods, and this garden square is among its most desirable streets.
