Great stay in Strasbourg

I enjoyed this stay a short walk from the city center, with multiple nice restaurants around. Despite being in a very lively street, the flat opens toward an interior courtyard, so there was no noise pollution, despite sleeping with open windows.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for 5 nights in May 2025. The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect for exploring the beautiful city of Strasbourg, feets away from beautiful buildings and resteraunts.

Centrally located on quite street

We arrived to find a lovely clean newly renovated cozy apartment. There was fresh fruit on the table and a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge. Directions for check in were easy to follow. The location was ideal. We will definitely plan a return trip!

Great location, lots of steps!

This place was a great value in a great location. I really enjoyed Strasbourg and the host provided everything we needed. The one comment I would make, and this is not a criticism, is that there are lots of narrow winding steps. This wouldn't be a problem for many people, but if you have problems with steps, this might not be the ideal place for you. Also, the key to the front door can be a little tricky. By the time I mastered it it was time to go home! But I would definitely stay in this place again. The hosts were great.

Quirky but comfortable little apartment in a great, lively neighborhood by the river. One of those old buildings with multiple courtyards, different entrances, winding stairs. Surprisingly quiet. The floors slanted a little bit in the living room and bedroom, which made me dizzy. The lock on the door to the street was broken and the courtyard door lock was sometimes difficult to open. The courtyard itself was dirty, lots of bird droppings, garbage. But once upstairs in the apartment everything was fine. The hosts left us some local treats, which was much appreciated. Everything was clean. We loved the neighborhood and its access to the river, to restaurants , and to the cathedral.

Great little property (little being the key word). Caution if you have big suitcases as there are two large flights of stairs. Good for 2 persons. A little cramped with 3 persons. Bed is comfy and bathroom is good. Kitchen very usable for snacks etc.

Location can't be beat

We stayed for four weeks, so can definitely recommend for a long or short stay. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped. Loved having a washer. The host checked in with us as we were arriving. Other than that, we didn't have a need to contact them. Cathedral and many sights are just a few blocks away. There are nearby grocery stores and many nearby places to eat or socialize. The only negative for us was that the apartment is on the third floor (2nd floor if you're not from the US.) We're over 65 and hauling heavy luggage up two flights of stairs is a lot.

Very nice apartment

The apartment was very comfortable. Had a bit of a struggle getting in at first. There was a sort of a scavenger hunt in the courtyard to get the keys and we were cold, wet, and short on patience but the instructions were excellent. I turned the key the wrong way (counterclockwise) in the door to get into the building which deployed a temperamental deadbolt and kept us out of the building for 10 unpleasant minutes before we lucked out and got it to release letting us in. The residents know better and a quarter turn the other way (clockwise) reliably releases the latch opening the door. Once in the building, there was no problem with the other key and the apartment door and once we understood about clockwise-only on the door from the courtyard that was not a problem, either. The apartment was comfortable and located in a beautiful part of town. I would definitely stay here again.

Super apparemment

Un appartement très agréable, plein de charme. La situation géographique est idéale pour découvrir Strasbourg. La petite rue est calme. L'appartement est très bien équipé et d'une propreté impeccable. Nous n'avons pas rencontré les propriétaires, mais les instructions d'arrivée et d'utilisation étaient très claires et l'échange de messages cordial. Je recommande !

In der Ferienwohnung, die zentral und zugleich sehr ruhig gelegen ist, haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt mit den freundlichen Vermietern war unkompliziert und angenehm. Straßburg ist eine sehenswerte Stadt! Das Auto in solchen Ferientagen zu parken ist teuer, weil nur in Parkhäusern möglich.
