This was our second time visiting Hali I Kai and this stay was just as fantastic as the last. The unit is very comfortable for 4 and is really well appointed. The pool is beautiful and the bar/restaurant staff were great. Highly recommend!

New Years Eve in Waikoloa

A wonderful place to stay and spend a week. The property was just perfect for our family of 4 and the property manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Hali’i Kai is beautiful and we loved the pool and gym overlooking the ocean - we were fortunate enough to see whales and dolphins whilst at the gym. There is a great deal to do close by and within a relatively short drive. We highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be looking to come back.

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful time. Everything you need is there. All the beach supplies from umbrellas to coolers were provided. Kitchen is well stocked. Great space for a family of 4. Golf course view, swimming pool, spa, bar and restaurant make for a lovely day and sunset ocean views.

Fantastic

We have stayed in this complex before. Its a wonderful community. The pool and on site restaurant are great (although a little quick to close in the evening). It would be nice to list the actual location in the description. The description and map makes it look like it was one of the closer buildings to the pool. Its one of the further buildings from the pool area - still only a 10 minute walk. We would definintely book again.

Second time at Hali'i Kai

This was our second visit to Hali'i Kai, but different unit. Both were excellent! This unit also include a fantastic Weber gas grill on our patio that we used once to sear some steaks! The unit also included beach gear (umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, some snorkle gear and two beach towels.) We love the grounds, and the resort pool area with full bar and restaurant! The food is outstanding every time we ate there! Sevice, not so great, but just deal with it. The bed was very firm and pillows fairly hard or dense or flat. Could use an extra set of pillows with more loft and a matress topper option to avoid the sore backs in the morning. Would recommend this unit to others. We didn't use it this trip, but had a second room with two twin beds. Full washer and dryer. Kitchen included many spices and seasonings. Only thing missing was shampoo and conditioner samples. Peppermint soap was interesting, but not preferable.

For some reason VRBO lists the property as much closer to the pool than it is. Expecting ocean views but instead got hotel views. The condo is nice but there was a lot of dust and a giant spider web across the lanai. 4-in-1 soap was not ideal and had to purchase more toilet paper since just given one extra role in each bathroom for 4 people over one week. We’ll stocked amenities like beach chairs, boogie boards, so that was great. I’ve stayed in better units in Halii Kai. This was just okay.

We have stayed at Halii Kai a few times, they have a great resort style pool with ocean views and a nice bar/restaurant. The food menu has been updated since our last visit, now has full dinner. This condo was well supplied with beach gear- chairs,umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers, everything you could need. Kitchen also well stocked. Great size for 2-4 guests.
