We found the place as described very clean and in good condition! It felt like we were "at home away from home"! Having traveled to Hilton Head almost twice yearly the past 40 years and staying at different rentals each time, I feel comfortable giving this 5 stars!

Location is great! Very close to Restaurants, bars, shops. Beach access was also great! I liked the security of the entire area, but a lot of codes to remember. Inside our condo needs some updating but overall, nice experience.

Great Location

The property was within walking distance from the beach and many shops and restaurants. There were some issues with the unit itself. The kitchen sink had a leak and clogged easily, the coffee machine was broken, there were no basic cooking supplies like salt and pepper, and the water from the showers was cold after the first night. The property outside the unit was a little old and run down but the pool area and bar was nice. After hours check-in was a little confusing. The intructions weren't super clear and had us running in circles across town to get the check-in packet. Overall a good stay, just could use some maintenance and extra care.

Amenities lacking

Location was perfect - close to Coligny shops and right on the beach ! Amenities were lacking - no beach chairs , no beach towels , no tissues and we ran out of toilet paper , dishwasher and laundry soap . Responses from the management company Vacasa were minimal and didn’t respond until we were there already. Would have packed beach towels if we had known.

Ease of keypad access without worrying about losing key was great; but needing illumination to see. Floor plan layout was really good for two couples. Availability of kitchenwares & coffee grounds nice to easily make food & serve beverages. There was concerning ceiling water damage in multiple areas of common living areas & both bathrooms. Fortunately a short stay as would need professional mitigation & cleaning work to remove. Excessive dust accumulated on ceiling fans, chandelier, headboard. Floor was Not level underneath carpeting. Thank you.

Great location!

We have stayed in different condos at the seacrest for years now. I booked this particular condo during a flash deal and the price was amazing! Condo was clean and roomy but a bit dated. The seacrest resort as a whole was disappointing however. We noticed several things falling apart, the lagoons were drained and filled with old water and dirt, the halls were very dark and unkept as well. When I looked at rebooking this unit for next year I could not justify it with the price increase. I am hopeful the seacrest resort will work on upkeep and units will also update furniture etc or we may end up changing to sea pines in the future. I don’t mind spending good money on a nice place but this year the seacrest resort really seemed to fall short. The best thing however is location to coligny and with small children we were grateful for the short walk!

Nice but uncomfortable

We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. However, the beds weren’t comfortable and the furniture was very worn down and also uncomfortable. The dishwasher had mind on it, as did the shower doors. I feel that this could be corrected with attention to detail from the cleaning crew after each stay. The dryer did not dry well; I had to dry my towels on high three full cycles before they were dry. The master bathtub was very clogged and wouldn’t hardly drain, but I called Vacasa and someone fixed the problem within an hour of my call. We did have a great time, but some changes would have to be made to this unit before we considered staying here again. This was our second time staying at SeaCrest and it has become one of our favorite condos to stay at.

Disappointing stay

Let me start by saying we love the Coligny area and have been vacationing here for the last 10 years. Seacrest is a great resort in a perfect location. Over the years we have stayed at several different Seacrest units and sadly this unit was subpar compared to other units. The decor was fine but the unit showed a lack of up keep and significant wear and tear. The master bath was recently updated but they didn’t update the faucet. Which I had to call about because it wouldn’t shut off. The exhaust fan sounded like it was going to take off and shake out of the ceiling. The master bedroom door didn’t close correctly. There were outlets that were not secure and one that was hanging open. The refrigerator looked like it had been beat up. The spare bedroom door appears to have been broken into, as the jam was cracked. Lastly the patio door did not fully close and the handle was installed backwards so you pinch your fingers when you closed it. I hate to be so negative but there seems to be a disconnect between owners, managers and maintenance group. This is a great location and a great resort, but this unit just didn’t meet the standard we have seen with our other stays here.

Location is great but issues need attention.

The first sentence of the listing is “with sweeping ocean views” which definitely does not describe the view from this condo. The location is fantastic and only a short walk to the beach and shopping but due to the 1st floor location, the ocean is not visible. This listing also shows a max of 8 guests but there is only sleeping for 6. We thought the couch would pull out since there was linen in the living room for it but it unfortunately did not. My teenager was less than thrilled with sleeping on a bunk bed in the room with mom & dad but that was better than sleeping on the couch. The master bath has been updated with a large tile shower which was nice. The TV was a bit confusing but by the last day we figured it out. There are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. I reached out to Vacasa the first night and they replied immediately which surprised me because it was close to 11pm. They were supposed to have someone reach out the next day and I never heard back. There is an outlet behind the kitchen table that was hanging from the wall. Big problem when we had a toddler with us! The condo could also use a good deep cleaning, not just cleaning the visible surfaces, but also the tops of high objects, small spaces between cabinets and walls, grout in the bathrooms, etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We have been coming to HHI for 20+ years but had never stayed at SeaCrest before. I was disappointed to see that the prices for this condo next year are double what we paid for the same time this year.

Location is all! Oceanfront, playground, dinners

Grounds are amazing! Pools were great (didn’t get to use them much, i don’t believe they were heated) they were about 73 degrees the whole time we were there. Hot tub was kid friendly in the mornings, by noon it is up to 103 and too hot for the kiddos. Pool bar jim’s was amazing, which is attached to the property! They gave our kids little treats while the adults enjoyed a blendy. I can’t speak highly enough of the area of coligny park! Amazing pirate ship playground, meals for anytime, all family friendly! Most with kiddie picnic tables. The hotel is walking distance to a piggly wiggly but i recommend driving to a publix to save $. now for the room… this is the only reason i can’t give 5 stars. It is dated, has stains on furniture and carpet. The pillows are pretty awful so bring your own. Room gets very cool with is nice! Balcony furniture is bulky for the space. But other than just being dated… the room suited our needs and we loved the resort. We will try a different room the next time we come, but we would absolutely come back to seacrest!

Hilton head gem

This beautiful place was right next to the beach and Coligny Plaza so there is so much to do (even on a rainy day). There is also a new park nearby that the kids absolutely loved. The condo had a wonderful amount of space between the bedrooms and the living area/kitchen so TV could be on at night in the living area space without waking up those sleeping in the bedrooms. Customer service was great about responding to any questions we had during the trip. We hope to stay here again every year. Great location in Hilton Head and really made our trip special!

Great week in Hilton Head

Overall we were pleased with the property. It was as advertised. I liked having a bedroom for the kids that included bunk beds. That was great! We didn't have a view of the beach or the ocean from this unit, but did have a nice view of the garden. The elevators at SeaCrest are notoriously slow, so it was nice to be on the first floor, and only needing to go up one flight of stairs, so that was our preferred way to get in and out of the unit. I appreciated having an ice maker! It's hard to beat the location of SeaCrest, with a grocery store, shops and restaurants directly across the street. We've been coming to the SeaCrest for 6 years. This was probably our least favorite unit, as we usually stay oceanfront (the 3000 building) or on a higher floor with an ocean view, but the condo met our needs and I would probably stay here again.
