Totally Restored Grand Mansion & Estate overlooking the CT River
Perched atop Juniper Hill, the Windsor Mansion Inn spans over 14 acres in the historic hamlet of Windsor, Vermont, the town where the Constitution of Vermont was adopted in 1777. The Inn's distinguished history dates back to the late 1800s. Built by the Evarts family, the grand mansion served as their home until 1941. It was then transformed into the grandiose inn we know today. Since 1902, this gracious colonial revival home has welcomed countless distinguished guests, including Presidents Franklin Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge and Woodrow Wilson. The mansion underwent a million dollar restoration to return the historic property back to its original glory and has been placed on the National Historic Register. The newly refurbished mansion once again carries on the famed hospitality and elegant entertaining that was once desired by patrons throughout its history. Today guests can experience the home as it was originally intended - both inside our grand spaces and outside with over 14 acres of manicured grounds. The venue specializes in destination weddings, family reunions and receptions creating unforgettable memories.
