Luxuriously appointed Villa Katerina is set in a peaceful location in Western Crete, surrounded by spectacular views of the White Mountains and the sea. Villa Katerina is officially registered with the Greek Tourism Organisation (EOT) and holds the Special Sign of the Greek Tourism Organisation (EOT-1042K122K015040000).

The villa has recently undergone an external renovation, including the creation of a contemporary Mediterranean garden inspired by the natural character of Crete. The outdoor spaces combine gravel surfaces with carefully selected Mediterranean and drought-tolerant plants, creating a simple, natural and low-maintenance landscape that is well adapted to the local climate.

The garden has been designed with an eco-conscious approach, using plants suited to the Mediterranean environment and requiring less water once established. The combination of gravel and climate-appropriate planting reduces water consumption and maintenance while creating a landscape that complements the architecture and blends naturally with the surrounding Cretan countryside.

At the heart of the outdoor area is the villa's private 40 sqm heated salt-water swimming pool. Pool heating is provided at no additional cost, allowing guests to enjoy the pool comfortably not only during the warmest summer months but also during the cooler periods of the season. The salt-water system provides a pleasant swimming experience while reducing the need for conventional chlorine treatment.

Comfortable wooden sun loungers and outdoor seating areas surround the pool, creating peaceful spaces for relaxing, reading or simply enjoying the views. The outdoor areas are designed to make the most of the Mediterranean climate and the villa's beautiful natural setting.

The villa accommodates up to six guests in three comfortable bedrooms. One bedroom is located on the ground floor and features a king-size double bed and an en-suite shower room with a hydromassage shower.

The two remaining bedrooms are located on the first floor. One features a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, while the other has a large double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a hydromassage shower.

Both upstairs bedrooms open onto a large veranda overlooking the olive groves, the White Mountains and the sea. It is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee, a leisurely breakfast or a glass of local wine while taking in the spectacular Cretan landscape.

On the ground floor, an open-plan living and dining area provides a comfortable space for relaxing and spending time together. It features a large sofa, an armchair and a large LCD television.

The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and everything needed to prepare meals during your stay.

The entire villa is air-conditioned for comfort during the hot summer months. During the cooler periods of the year, heating is available throughout the villa, while a cosy fireplace in the living room creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Firewood is provided in a designated outdoor area.

The outdoor spaces invite guests to enjoy the slower rhythm of Mediterranean living – long breakfasts in the morning, relaxing afternoons by the pool and dinners outdoors on warm Cretan evenings.

Nature and local produce are also an important part of the Villa Katerina experience. Guests can enjoy seasonal fruit and vegetables from our garden, as well as fresh eggs from our small henhouse. You are welcome to collect vegetables and eggs yourself and experience a small taste of everyday life in the Cretan countryside.

A welcome pack awaits you upon arrival, featuring traditional local products, including olive oil, raki and local wine from Yianni's own farm.

For leisurely breakfasts on your terrace overlooking the pool, a breakfast pack is provided upon arrival, including fresh bread, natural juices, eggs, bacon, fruit, cheese, honey and butter. Additional eggs, olive oil, raki and honey can also be provided during your stay upon request.

Bath and pool towels, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and a hairdryer are provided.

The villa is cleaned twice a week, including a change of bed linen and bath and pool towels.
