We had a wonderful stay in this lovely chalet surrounded by mountains and very close to Lake Annecy. Wonderful cycling, a lovely cool river at the end of the road, paddleboarding and swimming in the warm clear waters of the lake. Perfect for our family of 5 with 3 teens

Excellent position for both walking down to the edge of the lake or setting off for trekking. Sophie was especially helpful as we were running late and she was so kind. Would highly recommend the accommodation, location, property itself and, of course, Sophie!

Great property in Doussard

The house is great with four sizeable double bedrooms, a large sitting room, well-stocked kitchen and plenty of outside space. Sophie is very friendly, helpful and responds quickly to any enquiries. Doussard is a great base for a cycling trip (we were cycling in the surrounding mountains), and in our opinion preferable to staying in Annecy which is much bigger and busier. I can strongly recommend the house and venue and we will hopefully go back next year.

This villa was very well located. Although it was located at the bottom of Lake Annecy, it allowed us to visit sites close to Annecy via either side of the lake. Check-in was easy and well explained by Sophie. The villa has everything we needed, microwave, coffee machine, toaster etc and even a modern iron with continuous steam. France was experiencing a prolonged heatwave when we visited in early July. Sophie provided a fan during our stay, but the automatic shutters helped to keep a lot of the heat out. There were lots of games and books to keep anyone entertained on a rainy day. The stand out feature was the raft of leaflets/maps containing information about sites and activities in the area.There is an activity centre that provided bike rental, tandem paragliding, water sports and more. The property is about a 20 minute walk away from a local beach that has 2 volleyball courts and 2 bars/restaurants. A butcher, supermarket and bakers is just a short stroll away. We had a fantastic time. Thank you very much for your hospitality, Sophie!

Pour un séjour en famille, la maison convient parfaitement. Bien équipée, pour des enfants en bas âge. La canicule était supportable à l intérieur.

Magnifique séjour

Visite de la vieille ville d’Annecy et du bord du lac, balade dans la réserve naturelle de Doussard et petite pose à la plage de Doussard bout du lac, marché de Doussard et pour finir nous en avons pris pleins la vue avec le point de vu en haut du col de la forclaz ! Que de bonheur

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication from the owner was both faultless and thoughtful. The house layout worked brilliantly for our family. More comfortable outdoor furniture/sun lounges would be a welcomed upgrade but all in all we had everything we needed and a wonderful stay near the beautiful Lake Annecy. Thank you.

Boating Getaway

The property is very spacious and exceptionally clean, the owner Sophie is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.. The house has everything you need for a lovely stay. Our only negatives are the beds are very low and a struggle to get out of and the garden furniture is very uncomfortable. Saying this we will be back to this property next year hopefully.

Amazing home close to the lake

Sophie’s house was fabulous. We were 8 guests and all had comfortable beds and a lot of space to enjoy ourselves. The neighborhood is really quiet and the lake is very close. Sophie is also wonderful, super easy to communicate with and welcoming.
