River view guesthouse getaway, affectionately known as "The Racoon House", offers open concept newly renovated kitchen; cozy gas fireplace in living room to enjoy conversation, games, take care of business, or catch up with facebook friends with wireless internet provided. Our house comfortably sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms with one king, one full and 2 twin beds. The two bathrooms have showers and 1 has a shower/tub combo. If you need it, full laundry facilities are on the main level. Enjoy coffee and conversation indoor or outside on "flora and fauna" landscaped property. Downtown LeClaire is blocks away providing shopping, distilleries, restaurants, Buffalo Bill museum and American Pickers sights. The Raccoon House is located 1 block from Mississippi River with nearby boat launch and it is 8-10 minutes away from TBK Sports complex (via nearby 1-80), shopping, movies, restaurants and casinos. Minimum 2 nights stay. Discount provided for extended stays. You are always welcome here!

It was ideal for family members to meet up and spend time together. This was our 2nd time staying and brought food to prepare in the wonderful kitchen setup. We didn't leave the home in the 2 full days we were there, giving us plenty of time to catch up and enjoy the relaxing setting. The beds are comfortable and spacious. It is great to have two full bathrooms, one on each level. We look forward to making plans for another stay.

The raccoon house is quaint, clean and easily accessible. The owners, Karen and Shawn greeted us, gave us a tour of their beautiful property and shared the vegetables from their garden..they are so friendly. I will stay there again. We had a wonderful week in their lovely cottage.

Adorable getaway!

Loved our time staying at this house for a weekend! In town for basketball tournaments, and enjoyed being able to have some quiet downtime in between games. Owners were amazing and very helpful with the stay!

Great house for our family. Stairs may make it tricky for families with young walkers but we were able to make it work for us. Beautiful garden.. The whole property was a real respite for us during our vacation.
