What's better than beachfront? Our place! We are directly across the street from the beach, so you get the convenience of beachfront without the beachfront prices. You are a shorter walk to the beach from our condo than you would be in the big resorts with 'beachfront' prices.

Come relax and feel the sand between your toes in beautiful South Padre Island. This is the perfect place to get away from it all. Even better, is our location. We are directly across the street from the beach, and there is a beach access just steps from the condo. It's like being beachfront without the prices! There are no hotels around us, so the beach is not as crowded and the neighborhood is quiet.

Stream your favorite apps, ZOOM, eLearn, etc. with high-speed WIFI internet. Our condos are pet friendly and kid friendly. They are also great for a romantic getaway. Are you setting up a girls' weekend or reunion? You can rent out an entire floor or the whole building and have a private vacation!

New upgrades: Keurig coffee maker, Berlin Gardens outdoor pool furniture, 6 beach chairs, 1 Tommy Bahama beach umbrella, 6 beach towels and a beach wagon.

We are thrilled that you are looking at spending some time with us at Athena Ares Condominiums. Our beach home is a pet friendly, family vacation rental. The traveler securing the reservation must be 25 years of age or older. For Spring Break / Semana Santa all rental guests must comply with a families only restriction. We proudly honor all military and law enforcement with a 10% discount off the nightly rate. If the dates that you are looking for are not available in this condo, we have 5 more fantastic condos in the same great complex that might work for your dates. We loved our stay at Athena Ares! The location was absolutely perfect — just a quick walk across the street to the beach. The property was beautifully furnished, the pool area was relaxing, and the outdoor cooking space and TV setup made it easy to enjoy the games. We also loved that it’s pet-friendly, which made the trip even better for our pups! The owner was super communicative and made everything smooth from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

Always a great stay at this property

This is about the 6th time we have stayed here since 2020. This is a great property with great owners who take pride in their building, and it always shows. The pool outdoor cooking area is awesome. Location is perfect.

Awesome place

Booked this as an extended family vacation everyone had a great time over all accessible and clean. Very close to the beach. The rooms were great for my family of four. The pool is awesome the out door space is great. There was a rat in the outdoor space that was comfortable stealing food out of the grill. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was phenomenal!! Perfect for families. Very close to the beach and the owners have everything you could possibly need. Pool area is awesome as well. We have definitely found our new favorite place in Padre.

Amazing stay

The condo was so nice, stocked with anything you might need and clean! Property manager was amazing! Location was excellent, great beach access and easy walking to restaurants. The best part was the outdoor pool area! Pool was beautiful and warm, hot tub was perfect and the outdoor kitchen, tv, pool table was great for us to gather. I would definitely stay here again!

Home away from home

The place is amazing, clean and have all your need. The pool/hot tube was our favor spot just to relax. Only half block away from the beach and a lot of nice restaurants close to the condo! Definitely we will be back in July, thank you Martin and Diane!!!!!!

Love the fact that this was located so close to the beach. When they say “five minute walking distance” that’s an accurate description. Makes it easy to go back and grab a bite for lunch and come out in the evening after dinner.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay.

This is my second stay at this property this year. Highly recommend as it is clean, well appointed and has close access to the beach, restaurants and the Sea Turtle Rescue Center. It rained this trip so spect one day inside and it felt like I was home. Comfortable and welcoming.

Family reunion

We have a large group and having all four units next to each other was great. The pool area was perfect for swimming, visiting and grilling burgers. Short walk to beach. The units were all nicely furnished and comfortable.

Why they chose this property

The location is great! We can easily head back to the condo for lunch or just to grab more digging stuff. Then it's just a 1-2 minute walk back across the street and we are there, in the water! We also love walking down to the Wanna Wanna Inn for fried shrimp, cold beer, and good music. When our family comes to visit, we stay in all of the condos and spread out. We get to enjoy being close together without listening to each other snore!
