House was built in 1925 and has been recently renovated. It features a roomy front porch, back balcony, gas grill, fenced in backyard, hardwood floors, wood burning fireplace, stocked kitchen with gas range, DW, W/D, A/C, high speed (free)Wi-Fi, and smart tv. Two large bedrooms with big closets and high-end, American made, comfy, queen mattresses ensure you will sleep like a baby. There is also a dedicated office space for folks working remotely. Popular eateries, watering holes, and grocery stores are within walking distance. Take a walk in the old neighborhood or on the Reed Creek Greenway. Montford Park is just a block away where you can play tennis, hoops, or practice your Tai Chi. Downtown Asheville, UNCA, and the Botanical Gardens are a short walk. Whether you are relocating, looking for a new house, renovating your existing house, or seeking a safe retreat for a few months with the pooch, our Montford home may be for you! Please note that the old house is now split into three living spaces (apartments A, B, and C). There are long-term (friendly and quiet) tenants upstairs in apartment B. The basement apartment is used (by me), on occasion, for storing supplies and doing laundry between stays.
